  1. Will be rooting for Wawrinka in the finals today, great to see him in that position again!
  2. I'll be leaving Saturday alone betting-wise, but good luck to everyone who's getting stuck in!
  3. Ruud (vs. Fils) + Zverev (vs. van Assche) at 1.56 with Bet365 Going with a small fav combo tomorrow. Ruud showed good fight in his comeback today, while Zverev has been dominant so far as well. Plenty of points and money on the line here, so the motivation should be there.
  4. Daria Saville to beat Tamara Korpatsch at 2.00 with Bet365 Back again with Saville, as I feel that Korpatsch is tremendously overrated at the moment, she's very average in all respects, and struggled heavily in R1. Saville has shown a lot of fight and the comeback trail could very well continue here.
  5. Hi @MJT, welcome to the forum, and good luck!
  6. Ankita Raina (+5.5) to beat Anna Jodie Burrage at 1.73 with Bet365 Burrage lost an awful match against Bai last time out, while Raina has finally stringed some wins together, and shouldn't be this easy to beat honestly. 5.5 lines are by no means simple to cover, it has to be a one-sided match, and I'm not sure why this should be that. Aliaksandra Sasnovich (+5.5) to beat Karolina Muchova at 1.80 with Unibet Of course Muchova is the favourite here, but this is another 5.5 line that might be very tricky to cover. Sasnovich is a classy player with all the experience in the world, and the fact that both could be somewhat rusty favours this bet as well imo. Linda Fruhvirtova to beat Lucrezia Stefanini at 1.50 with Unibet My final bet is actually on a favourite, with the talented L. Fruhvirtova taking on Stefanini, who's looking to finally break the top 100 mark. This is a tough spot, though, and I think Linda will have more than enough in the tank here.
  7. I know I'm late, but it's also often the case that players withdraw from the main draw and get replaced by lucky losers. Sometimes, the players even know about withdrawals before the final qualifying rounds.
  8. Daria Saville to beat Sinja Kraus at 1.50 with Unibet Going for short odds once again, but I just can't pass this after seeing Saville yesterday. She was seriously good against Palicova, great running, seemed to like the conditions, and this will be a fairly similar match-up as well.
  9. Casper Ruud to beat Lorenzo Musetti at 1.53 with William Hill Lorenzo Musetti has already dropped two sets this week, while Ruud is yet to drop one, and this is actually a tournament he won back in 2021, so he has every reason to try hard and feel good. Not much to say here, really.
  10. Clara Burel to beat Sara Sorribes Tormo at 2.85 with Unibet So far so good this week, and I'll back Burel yet again, to the surprise of noone. The odds are bigger this time around, and so is the challenger, but Sorribes Tormo played poorly in her previous match and complained a lot about the conditions/heat. Could be a good opportunity for Burel then, good luck!
  11. Jasmine Paolini to beat Dayana Yastremska at 1.67 with William Hill Burel delivered for us yesterday as well, and I'll side with Paolini today. Great H2H record, home conditions, slower clay, I'm all for it. Yastremska is very likely to get frustrated at some point, and hitting Paolini out of the court will be tough.
  12. Clara Burel to beat Cristina Bucsa at 1.73 with William Hill I'll gladly back Burel again. Bucsa should be tougher than Grabher, but she played a surprisingly long match against Curmi yesterday, and recovery won't be easy due to all the heat and late end. Burel should be completely fresh, on the other hand, and that could very well play a role deciding the result here.
  13. Clara Burel to beat Julia Grabher at 1.74 with Unibet Grabher is on a long losing streak at the moment, and it might be a good idea to keep opposing her until she gets back to winning ways. Burel was on a good run last week as well, so she brings some form here at least.
  14. Well, 2/2 in the finals for a nice wrap!
  15. Carlos Alcaraz to beat Novak Djokovic at 2.65 with Unibet I'm also going to side with the underdog in the finals tomorrow, I think there's some value in the odds. Djokovic is the more accomplished, for sure, but he's been showing plenty of signs of weakness here and there, and I think Alcaraz will have enough opportunities. I don't think there's as much value here as in Vondrousova today, but I'd nevertheless be like 2.37 here.
  16. Marketa Vondrousova to beat Ons Jabeur at 2.88 with Bet365 I very much agree that the odds are overrating Jabeur, and I'll back Vondrousova yet again here at odds this high. Nerves will play a role, and everything is possible, but the 3-3 H2H (with Vondrousova winning the most recent showdown in Indian Wells this year) is evidence enough that Vondrousova can very much beat her.
  17. Carlos Alcaraz (-1.5 sets) to beat Daniil Medvedev at 1.76 with Unibet Alcaraz is 10-0 on grass so far this season, and he will obviously be keen to lock himself a spot in the finals convincingly today. He crushed Medvedev when the two last met early in this season, and he's been the better player all year long. Medvedev is also yet to be tested in this event - Eubanks tested him, but he's hardly a world class player, which says a lot. Can't see past Alcaraz in this one, Medvedev would somehow have to switch back to his best, and he hasn't been able to do that for ages now.
  18. I'm not saying it doesn't, it very well might. I just can't bring myself to trust her. I had a post here backing Vondrousova at 2.00+, but that was because I read the odds wrong early in the morning. As an underdog, I'd enjoy backing her. With the odds as they are, though, I think it's probably fair overall.
  19. Siding with Vondrousova, but I don't like the odds enough.
  20. The odds look about right to me today, so will stay away.
  21. Marketa Vondrousova to beat Jessica Pegula at 2.20 with William Hill Watching both play so far, I think that Vondrousova shouldn't be the underdog here, and that it's a 50/50 proposition at the very least. Pegula is yet to face a classy grass court opponent as well, while the Czech has already faced some quality opposition in Vekic, Kudermetova, and even Bouzkova. I'm happy to go with the battle-tested Vondrousova at odds against.
  22. Grigor Dimitrov to beat Holger Rune at 1.62 with Bet365 This is the only bet that I like for today. Dimitrov has been in stellar form since the start of the grass court season, and Rune has shown some signs of weakness even against players that are more dangerous on clay courts like himself. Dimitrov's style is more suite to grass, and he's been very quietly flying under the radar. Nobody's thinking about him anymore, yet here he is, doing well - and I think there's every chance that he'll get past Rune as well.
  23. Elina Svitolina to beat Viktoria Azarenka at 2.20 with Unibet I like Svitolina in this spot at odds against. She really managed to get under Kenin's skin in the last match and, even though I did back Azarenka two rounds ago, I don't think that she deserves this hype just because she's managed to beat Kasatkina, who has a puffbal serve and who seemed to have some physical issues as well.
