  1. Emiliana Arango (-3.5) to beat Himeno Sakatsume at 2.02 with Pinnacle Arango has played herself into a very solid form, having faced some good opposition, while Sakatsume hasn't really played outside ITFs so far this season, and she hasn't played in Europe yet, either. I'd be quite surprised to see a different outcome than Arango win here, hopefully it's by a decent margin as well!
  2. ✌️
  3. Fortunately it stopped raining!
  4. Well, looks like Kalinina will get some time off unfortunately!
  5. Matilde Paoletti (+6.5) to beat Taylor Townsend at 1.83 with Unibet Paoletti is on the run of her life this week, and I don't see her giving up this tamely against Townsend. Granted, I do think that Townsend will win and that it will be reasonably easy as well, but the +6.5 line is huge!
  6. I'd say that Paolini certainly likes clay way more than Yastremska!
  7. I didn't even know he was planning to come back!
  8. Yue Yuan to beat Diane Parry at 2.20 with William Hill I think there's some value in backing Yuan to get another upset in Paris. She beat the very dangerous Friedsam quite comfortably in the previous round, while Parry struggled against Janicijevic, and she hasn't been in any sort of form pretty much since the start of the year. The Paris conditions are pretty specific, and it seemed to me yesterday that Parry isn't a big fan.
  9. Karolina Muchova (+1.5 sets) to beat Paula Badosa at 1.66 with Unibet I'm not a massive fan of either right now at the moment, but I don't really know why Badosa is favored so much here. She's having a rocky season so far, and her recent results don't make her a top 10 player again on their own. Muchova has been going through some difficulties as well, and I think that there's every chance that we'll see a hard-fought encounter here given all that, with Muchova taking at least a set.
  10. Veronika Kudermetova to beat Marie Bouzkova at 1.57 with William Hill Good win for Bouzkova in the previous round, but Kudermetova is in a very good nick at the moment, having lost only against Swiatek, which is no shame. Despite her high ranking, I think that she's still a bit underrated honestly, she's like top 5 for me when in a form like this. Bouzkova was struggling massively not that long ago, and I don't see her getting two big wins back-to-back here.
  11. Those all look like sensible picks to me! I haven't been able to watch a lot of matches this week, unfortunately, but I'll be back to the grind on Monday again. Can't see anything stand-outish today, but Sasnovich at 2.42 looks decent value, certainly!
  12. Nuria Parrizas-Diaz (+1.5 sets) to beat Veronika Kudermetova at 1.88 with Unibet NPD managed to take a set off Kudermetova in Madrid not that long ago, and the conditions here should suit her even better. Moreover, Kudermetova is yet to play here, so another plus for NPD. Any rain (not much scheduled, but could happen) would be great as well.
  13. I very much agree with Parrizas-Diaz! Shelby Rogers to beat Linda Noskova at 1.58 with Unibet I think that Noskova still needs some match practice in order to be competitive, and she had some physical issues when she last played in Oeiras, which is worrying. She has a higher ceiling and more talent than Rogers, there's no doubt about that, but her status is unknown, and Rogers is solid enough to take advantage of that.
  14. Alright, so that one came in as well! Svitolina - Stephens doesn't look too interesting to me betting-wise, slight edge to Stephens, and that's what the odds suggest as well.
  15. Elina Svitolina (-1.5 sets) to beat Leolia Jeanjean at 1.94 with Unibet This time around, I'll actually be backing Svitolina, as Jeanjean doesn't seem to have the weapons that are required to trouble her. She's far too erratic from the back of the baseline, she doesn't have a great serve, and she typically lacks confidence as well. She's just a completely different match-up than Bonaventure was, and one that should suit Svitolina.
  16. Ysaline Bonaventure (+4.5) to beat Elina Svitolina at 1.85 with Unibet I've been both backing and opposing Svitolina recently, and I think this is a good time to oppose her again. Bonaventure is a solid player, she's had some reasonable form recently, and she can hold her own against most players, really. Svitolina hasn't improved as much as I was expecting her to.
  17. Aslan Karatsev to beat Alex De Minaur at 2.50 with William Hill As much as I hate to be backing Karatsev, I think that the odds are just too high given his form and the Madrid conditions. They favour his attacking tennis, and he can just blow De Minaur off the court if he continues bashing like he has against a couple of really good players already. This should be like 2.10 imo, not 2.50.
  18. Hi, welcome, and good luck @ejmali333!
  19. Well, I'll take the weekend off, not reading Madrid well at all, but good luck to everyone who's getting involved!
  20. Not a good week unfortunately. Aliaksandra Sasnovich to beat Marie Bouzkova at 2.32 with Unibet Despite the bad week, I have to bet this after seeing Bouzkova play in Oeiras. Her form is really bad this season, and she's admitted that she's currently trying new things, so I wouldn't be surprised by another bad performance from her here. Sasnovich was decent enough against Sviti.
  21. I very much agree with you on Haddad Maia guys, hope she won't let us down! Anhelina Kalinina to beat Mayar Sherif at 1.61 with Unibet Sherif was lucky yesterday, as she would have been done and out without Giorgi having physical problems. The courts are pretty fast, which should suit Kalinina, and she's on a much higher level overall. She's also a bit like Masarova with her big hitting, to which Sherif lost recetly.
