Back Stanislas Wawrinka to win the 3rd quarter for a 5/10 stake at 5.50 with Paddy Power
Back Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to win the 4th quarter for a 3/10 stake at 11.00 with Paddy Power
Back Teimuraz Gabashvili to beat Lucas Pouille for a 7/10 stake at 1.80 with Paddy Power
Going with a couple of big shots in the quarter betting, it's all about the prices really and I do see many of the favourites struggling. All three should be in with a chance I reckon. In the match betting, I'd have Gabashvili much closer to the 1.67 mark, so I have to back him at 1.80 against Pouille, who hasn't really impressed anyone so far in this season.

    4pts N.Broady to beat A.Sasnovich 2-0 7/4 Paddypower
Sasnovich is ranked 100th so this match isn't too dis-similar to Broadys first. Broady hit 9 aces and won her match comfortably. She took her foot off the gas in the second, got broke and then broke straight back so she is a fighter. These have played only last year on the outdoor hard and Broady won 2-0. There she hit 10 aces and offered just 3 break points the entire match. She's in similar form to do the same here.
4pts E.Vesnina to beat Pironkova Evens Skybet
Pironkova has played alot of tennis recently. Vesnina has got past the first round for the last couple of years here. She's currently ranked 96th and could gain some valuable WTA points once she beats Pironkova. Pironkova, ranked 93rd, also got to the 2nd round here last year. These two played in 2013 on the hard court and Vesnina won 2-1 there.

Back Christina McHale (-2.5) to beat Misaki Doi for a 7/10 stake at 1.87 with Unibet
Fancy Azarenka and Pliskova to go well once again, at least one of them should get through to the semis based on Indian Wells form and the fact that they are outside the toughest quarters. Also fancy Peng at a massive price, she's going to get a win eventually and Van Uytvanck might not be able to handle her smart brand of tennis. Finally, there's McHale with a 4-0 record against Doi and I think that she's going to get a decent win for the fifth time in a row given her current form.

    Knapp - Wickmayer 3.98 Pinnacle

Knapp is returning after long recovery, but it was very well planned. She didn't need some warm up tournaments, because she was on full engine in training since the start of the year. Knapp is Top 50 player, who had great 2015 season. Despite 0:2 H2H against Wickmayer I thing she will be far more motivated here. I will put double pick for her, not only for a W, but also 2:0 win over Yanina.

    Karatancheva - Rogers 3.05 Pinnacle

H2H is for Rogers, who won twice over Karatancheva. They are pretty much on the same level. The difference is that Sesil has to defend very important points for reaching the second round last year. Rogers was lucky last week in IW against Duque-Marino. I expect here three set battle with many breaks.

    Djokovic - Raonic U20.5 2.61 Pinnacle

Don't like such a low odds, but Nole is improving here with each game and as we saw in the past he is a real killer in the finals. He was doing very well against Tsonga and Nadal, who received pretty well against him. Raonic has some problems with his serve against Goffin and probably versus Nole he will have some bigger problems if he didn't start so well the match.
Djokovic is once again in his prime game. He won his five 2 out of 3 set finals below 20.5 limit against guys like Murray, Tsonga, Nadal, Federer. Nothing wrong with Raonic, but I think he has easier draw and this is way he looked so impressive.

Back Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (+1.5 sets) to beat Novak Djokovic for a 7/10 stake at 2.70 with BetVictor
Going with this couple today. Nadal and Nishikori should be all about getting the momentum and winning rallies, hence the unders, especially with neither guy particularly strong on serve. Tsonga, on the other hand, looks worth a punt to me on the set handicap. Djokovic can turn it up at any moment and crush him, of course, but he's yet to hit his best since Dubai and the Frenchman has been very good so far, so chances are that he's going to get some big hitting going in at least one set.

    Sidorenko - Kravchuk 3.4 Pinnacle

Sidorenko showed very strong tennis in Kazan. He loves the surface and today he beat convincingly Gombos, who is on the same level as Kravchuk. Sidorenko is well rested, because he missed last week events. Before that he was very close to beat Strahovski in France. Kravchuk has two very easy opponents here. He is coming from Sweden, where most of the peoples who participated there have some kind of problems (except Kachanov). It's pretty even game and I see the odds for Sidorenko in the range of 2.50-2.75.

0.5pt S.Williams to win the first set 6-0 16/1 BetVictor
Serena just owns Aggy unfortunately. Nine matches between these two and Nine wins for Serena. The last six have been on the hard surface and all six have been in straight sets. This handicap would be covered in 5 of those 6 and she's been six niled twice. I just don't see a chance for Aggy.

    Venus - Donaldson 5.17 Pinnacle

Venus is a doubles specialist, who went to the main draw as a lucky looser and already scored a win over a Top 100 player. His previous opponent Chechinato is out of form and didn't like hard, but however it counts. Donaldson overcame Smyzchek, but he is just 19-year old kid, who never been consistent on the tour. He showed good performance in the first round and if he keeps the good serve will prove that he is favorite. 5.17 are very good odds for such a mach, where Venus has a chance to improve his single rankings without facing so strong opponents. In the past he reached semifinals on such tournaments. Venus form this season is pretty good with already won 3 ATP tournaments on doubles.

    Wacnik - Lu Pinnacle 5.09
Wacnik proved her superb form with easy win over Tena Lukas, who is overall better clay court player then Lu. Jessica got to the easier part of the draw and is capable to win some more points for the rankings against an opponent, who is going to play her third match this season. Lu is hard court player. Last season she played just two matches on clay. She is favorite because of her superior rank, but in my estimation the max odds for her opponent must be 3. All above is value. I Expect the odds to fall to 4.00 in the next few hours.

    Naydenova - Dodin 5.28 Pinnacle

Naydenova is in hot form reaching quarterfinal and semifinal in her last two tournaments. She was close to beat in form Kostova in her previous match, but lost a three setter with many missed chances.
Dodin also is showing promising things, but she lost last week a set to Zarazua, who is a class bellow Alexandrova. The French girl traveled a lot since the start of the season and played 22 matches for month and a half. Dodin is still the favorite, but I think the odds are a little bit wrong. Maybe 4.00 for Naydenova is more precise.

Milos Raonic to beat Tomas Berdych for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Paddypower
Nothing wrong with Raonic so far and he will be up for this challenge. Kind of shaky play from Berdych so far in both his matches even though he has'nt been in big trouble but I sense Raonic will cause him big trouble. It's 3-2 head to head between them and Raonic has beaten Berdych three times on hard, twice indoors and once outdoors.

Max Neuchrist - Lukas Lacko 4.04 Pinnacle     Max Neuchrist is participating in a third tournament in a row in China. He beat the qualifications here on his favorite surface this season - hard (12w/4l). Lacko is in awful form this season. He already lost some matches from outsiders. The bigger problem is his time zone change. Last week he was in Sweden on indoor hard, now is on outdoor in big humidity without much time to make acclimatization. Here the pick is not too much about Neuchrist qualities, but about the lack of form by Lacko, who is overall better player.

    Rybarikova - Bencic 5.1 Matchbook
Rybarikova scored two good wins here. She is in nice form and loved the surface. Bencic started very strong the season, but now she has some problems. The young talent was surprised in her very first match in Dubai and Doha and was close to lose against Lauren Davis. Bencic is still the favorite, but I am not sure if those odds are accurate for her opponent.

    2pts F.Verdasco to beat R.Nadal 11/4 Skybet
Beat nadal recently at the Australian Open on the hard. Infact beat Nadal twice on the hard last year. Nadal is struggling big time. He has always been a clay courter anyways so for him to improve on his form away from the clay too is double hard here. Verdasco ofcourse also not what you'd call a hardcourter but the head-2-heads speak for themselves and I'm not convinced it can change.
    2pts S.Halep to beat B.Strycova 2-0 Evens Skybet
Halep is bringing her A game this week and she has to as she is the current champion here. She has played Strycova once on the hard and beat her in straight sets and I expect the same here. First serve is as always key here and whilst Strycova is at an average 59% first serve in her 3 games here, Halep is 74%
    2pts S.Querrey to beat Tsonga 2-0 7/2 Boylesports
I'm going greedy as usual. Querrey is in great form (Won Delray tournament, Semi Final of Acapulco) and has won 11 in 13 beating the likes of Nishikori in straight sets and Del Potro. Where as Tsonga still doesn't look in good form to me. I expect him to do well at the French but last time these played, Querrey won in straight sets also and I'm going to take an outside shot at the same thing happening.
    1pt P.Kohlschreiber to beat N.Djokovic 6/1 Bet365
I think this is the first time I've ever tipped against him. Just do not think he looks on top of things last few matches. Since the Aus Open he has won all his games but one granted, but he is losing sets to players like Fratangelo and Kukushkin. It's just worth a shot at 6/1.

    Kalovelonis - Ivashka 3.94 Pinnacle

This one is from Kazan's challenger

Both guys coming from qualifications, but Kalovelonis already scored one surprise beating far better opponent than Ivashka - Vatulin. Markos showed very good results on indoor hard this season and he is capable to stun favorites. Ivashka has some problems with injury earlier this season, but looking at his past results he often was beaten in challenger level by lower ranked guys. Pretty 50/50 match with better odds for Kalovelonis, who is playing in his home country. I expect the odds to drop seriously in the next hours.

    4pts K.Pliskova to beat A.Ivanovic Evens Skybet
    2pts K.Pliskova to win 2-0 12/5 Boylesports
Head-2-head shows dominace from Pliskova so this isn't a match-up that Ivanovic enjoys. 3 head-2-heads all won by Pliskova. Last time out only recently in Sydney where Pliskova won in straight sets. I'm backing her to do the same here. Ana had match points against her against Giorgi and gave away 16 break points as opposed to Pliskova giving away just 2. Ivanovic went out last year to Garcia in the last 32 where as Pliskova got to the last 16 beating players like Muguruza before going out to eventual winner, Halep.

    2pts D,Allertova to beat J.Konta 13/8 Ladbrokes
This should be a close one and id be suprised if it's not a 3-setter. Head-2-head shows 1-1 but Konta won on the hard, Allertova on the clay. I just don't think she is a 13/8 dog here, especially after that performance against Kerber. Kontas form is hard to really vision as she has beaten players ranked 55 and 58 where as Allertova has just beaten a world number 2. Cetkovska isn't a top player but she also beat her dropping just 1 game. She is a real talent.

    3pts M.Raonic to beat B.Tomic 2-0 10/11 Paddypower
This will be good a measurement of how fit and ready Raonic is. He looked good against Cervantes but he did get broke in the second (won 6-1 6-3) but I think that's just Raonic taking his foot off the gas abit there. Tomic gave away 10 break point chances for Ram in his prior game. He also lost both the head-2-head between these two and both matches were 2-0 Raonic.

2pts Ramos Vinolas to beat G.Monfils 5/2 Skybet
Worth a punt here in my opinion. Monfils just about scraped through against Busta (7-5 7-6) and his second serve was just 42% where as Ramos seems to be playing excellent. Very impressive win over Kyrgios where he did not give away even 1 break point. If he serves that well again we could see an upset.

Vinci Vs Svitolina This is a match-up that I am keenly looking forward to with almost no doubts about the result. H2H stands at 1-1 with Svitolina winning the most recent. Vinci has really played a lot of tennis in the last couple of weeks for a woman her young age, and would now seem to be playing in reserve backed by an iron will to survive. The pressure once more is on her to weave out another crafty escape, especially as this is now a considerable upgrade from her last opponent. This can only go one way; and I confidently back Svitolina to win.

Back John Isner (-3.5) to beat Adrian Mannarino for a 7/10 stake at 2.02 with Unibet
Verdasco has been able to match Nadal in all their recent encounters and Nadal has certainly not impressed anyone against Muller, so I quite like Verdasco on the set handicap at odds against. Thiem also seems to be running out of fuel right now and Sock is bound to test him, so the 2.40 there looks worth a punt. Finally, Isner has an excellent record against Mannarino and he likes the Indian Wells conditions, so I'll give him a go on the games handicap line to round things off.

Back Gael Monfils (-3.5) to beat Albert Ramos for a 7/10 stake at 1.84 with Unibet
Despite winning in straight sets, Berdych didn't look all that good against DelPo, so I'm happy to back Coric to grab a set off him at odds against. Meanwhile, Monfils should be able to set the record straight and beat Ramos. The upset he produced against Kyrgios was as good as it gets, but I can't see him stringing big wins together.

Fratangelo (+1.5 sets) vs Djokovic 10.44 Pinnacle

Another very long shot, but there is some sense on it. Fratangelo is serving solidly here and won very easy his three matches .He managed to break several times good serve players as Gabiashvili and Stepanek. Nole is from another planet, but there were some weaknesses in his game during Davis cup clashes. Probably he is better now, but it will be his first match in the tourament and in the past he gave a lot of sets in his matches at IW to the guys like Alejandro Gonzales, who is from Fratangelo's level.
