winners of the caulfield cup have a good record of winning this and that brings jameka into the equation and the way she beat scottish
17 days ago she may keep the good record going, but i like the form of the current fav.with top jockey james macdonald who rode this horse last year, when he finished down the field, but has been consistent in last 4 races, 3 wins and a 2nd, has won on this distance and may prevail, and give his new yard a nice winner.
cant rule out anything ryan moore rides, so that my 3 against the field, not original

    Muthmira 11/10 Bet365
Muthmira caught then eye at Chelmsford a couple of weeks ago when she was well backed to win on her debut. She went on to finish 3rd which was a disappointment but it only tells half the story. She was clueless from the stalls and lost the race almost immediately and then once the penny dropped she made up lots of ground but by that time the winner had flown. She will be much more street wise now and there doesnt look to be anything lurking from the debutants apart from the Haggas runner who may need further.

Just one punter got through to the last leg last week but failed to land the pot. This weeks we start the ball rolling with a Win Fund of £260,589 and the Bonus Fund has reached £79,142.
Last weeks place dividend paid £189.30 which had 124 winners.
This weeks action comes from Goodwod, Beverley and Newmarket with the feature race being the Goodwood Revival stakes which is worth over £60,000 to the winner.

    Selections:
Leg 1: Grecian Light 5/2 Paddy Power (Arwa)
We start off with the Group 3 Prestige Stakes for fillies and Godolphin have a likely candidate in Grecian Light. She was a good winner here on the July course and then was second to Nations Alexander in the Sweet Solara so has obvious chances. Kilmah is the top rated filly but has a disappointing run in the Lowther to put behind her so the main danger may be the top one Arwa who was a winner last time out.
Leg 2: Kitaaby 11/2 Betfair (Symbolic)
Our first handicap of the day, a Class 3 event over 7f. Only 10 runners line up but any of them could win in a wide open event. I like the way Kitaaby won last time out at Leicester and trainer Brian Meehan is going well at the minute. Tiger Wolf also won last time out and looks the likely favourite, he can go on the shortlist along with the Gosden runner Symbolic.
Leg 3: Line Of Reason 6/1 Betfair (Maarek)
The Beverley Bullet over 5f is one of the biggest races to be held at Beverley and they have a decent turn out this year with Group 2 winner Muthmir in the line up along with the Irish raider Maarek who won this race twelve months ago. Low numbers have a big advantage here normally but the fast starting Caspian Prince is drawn out wide so we have pace all over the place. My idea of the winner is Line Of Reason who was second at Ascot and then 4th at York in a hot handicap.
Leg 4: Certificate 5/1 Skybet ( Flash Fire)
Big betting handicap of the day with 20 runners lining up for the Revival Stakes. Any amount of these have a squeak if turning up with their A-game but the consistent Certificate looks sure to go well under Andrea Atzeni. He won well back on turf at Doncaster and a 6lb penalty doesn't look too harsh. Top weight Flash Fire is the alternative selection for Godolphin, he drops back into handicaps after a try at Group level last time and will be thereabouts.
    Leg 5: Yarrow 12/1 Bet365 (Masterpaver)
Masterpaver has been running well all season since switching to a lower turf mark. Second last time out at Ascot was a really good effort but not so well handicapped now. Walpole is progressing well but now steps up in class and i'm not sure he's the value in the race. My preference is for the top one Yarrow who drops down to handicap company after some decent efforts in better company.
Leg 6: Platitude 5/2 Skybet (Monaleen)
The last leg is a 9-runner Listed contest over 1m6f and the top rated horse is Mr Singh trained by John Gosden and ridden by Frankie Dettori. He's been out of form so may be best watched for now and my preference is for the Stoute runner Platitude who ran a cracker at Newmarket two starts ago but was below par at Goodwood last time. He looks well in on these terms and is taken to beat Monaleen.

    Caitlin Mohr   98.88
    An saigdhur 98.84
    Dream walker  98.81
Currently dream walker sets the standard after a narrow win lto but 7/1 in such an open race is a little cramped ....Caitlin Mor looks my idea of the winner ...has decent form recently when just behind dream walker before going on to place at listed level ....that's good form so the 14/1 with bet365 now he's scraped in off bottom weight is a bit silly ....of the others an saigdhur is progressive and might not be finished yet 20/1 is overpriced as well
    Cailin mor 5 pts win 14/1 bet365
    An saigdhur 5 pts win 20/1 bet365
