Well done with Eagle Day (10.4 on betfair) and Le Legerien.
-
Good luck with this. I think its unlikey you will make a profit at Industry SP but the biggies at Betfair SP will give you a nice return if your bank is big enough! I tried something similar to this not long ago, Ireland only, at odds of between 3/1 to 33/1, only other rule was that the horse wasnt placed 4th, 5th or 6th lto. Still works to this day but at a strike rate of just 9% you need a huge balls and a huge bank to withstand the long losing streak which over the last six years reads. longest losing run of 65, longest losingin the place market 24. Very best of luck.

5.40 Chepstow. Believe You Me is a bit short at 2.08 but is the one in form and goes well at the course wikth two wins from two runs over course and distance. From her last race the second placed horse has franked the form albeit in an Amateur race. Believe You Me is up 4 lbs for that win which is neagted by the 5lb claim of the useful Jack Doughty who was third on one from this stable at Yarmouth yesterday.............Won as easy as can be😘 7.35 Sandown. Lone Piper is up in class having finished second at Yarmouth on his first try at 10 furlongs and only betaen a head. From that race the winner has gone in again in a class 4 handicap and the fourth and sixth home that day have gone on to win class 5 handicaps. One of those winners is second favourite in todays race, Due To Henry who finished almost a length behind my selection and Lone Piper is also 5lbs better off at the weights and is a bigger price tonight. The favourite is coming down in class but found his new mark of 80 beyoind him in a class 3 last time out. Lone Piper currently 6.8 on the exchanges and 2.8 currently being offered in the 2 place market. Win and 2 places...........unplaced 20.55 Chepstow. Bobacious is 5lb well in tonight, 10 furlongs on good to firm and lowly handicaps seems to be the way forward. He finished well clear of the third horse home last time out when Joshua Bryan probably set too strong a pace and was collared late on, chance to redeem that tonight.Currently 2.2 on the exchanges having been as high as 3.6 early door. Good luck whatever you are backing or laying today. -

Fillies day. 3.40 Curragh. Hanalia won the Oaks Trial at Naas in nice fashion, being held up and then came nice and smoothly to win the race, three have come out of that race to win next time up including a Listed and a Group Race winner. Murtagh does well with his 3 year olds when they are on the up and in a open race she looks overpriced at 11 on the exchanges and around 3.55 to place, win and place............finished 5th or 6th after being boxed in, reasonable enough run but not the jockeys greatest moment. 6.35 Newmarket. Mistral Star looks to have a chance in this Listed Race. She finished third in the Pinnacle at Haydock last time out and but for having to be switched first left then right would have finished quite a bit closer. The form was franked by the winner who went on to take a Group 2 next time up. Currently drifitng at 11.5 on the exchanges and its early for place liquidity but around 3.6 would be fair. Win and place.......Won impressively, the 11.5 was nice to get 😘 6.55 Haydock. Secret Mistral looks sure to go well here. Only once out of the first four at Haydock in seven attempts that includes a win and two places over course and distance from three attempts. Winner of a Class 4 on her seasonal debut here (C&D) she then went on to contest an Apprentices race, as can happen in these races she mets lots of trouble and possibly got some unfair reviews for her run that day. Back in a Class 5 Handicap where Doughty can claim his 5lb she can hopefully go close. Showing at 4.9 on betfair and no prices yet in the 2tbp market. Win and 2 places........... almost but the 2 places paid 2.6 on betfair 😋 Good luck whatever you play today. -

3.50 York. The race contested by Solomon on Kemptons all weather surface has some interesting follow up form, with the winner going on to win next time up in a Class 2 Handicap followed by victory in a Group 1 at HQ with his rating rising to 94 and then 122, the second home that day then won a Listed contest next time up with his rating rising to 99, Solomon was third that day , the fourth horse home then won next time up in a Class 2 Handicap and is now rated 92. This is Solomons first venture into Handicaps and his first venture on turf and gets in on his handicap debut off a mark of 86 which now looks generous. Up in distance is an unknown and he has had 142 days off but is in good hands. Currently 6.8 on betfair and forecast around 2.6 for a top three finish.....on a big drift, out to 8.8 and 3.1 3 places!.........................continued to drift out to 10.5 and was duly stuffed out of site. 8.25 Chester. Also getting the three year olds allowance is Native King who won nicely on his turf and handicap debut over course and distance and may overcome a 6lb penalty, held up that day he came wide and was a comfortable winner. Up against his elders for the first time but he might just be good enough. At around 3.25 on betfair. Good luck whatever you are backing today.

3.20 Catterick It was quite a decent seller that J Street contested last time after previously running in two quite hot races, one a Class 2 Conditions Race and before that she was 4th in a Class 2 Miaden at Beverley, she would probably have won that seller but for hanging right in the final furlong, the winner went on to win a class 2 Novices and is now rated 77 and the 3rd that day came out to win a Musselburgh maiden. Currently drifitng at around 3.9 on betfair.......WON nicely. 3.40 Yarmouth. Meet Me In The Meraki, his last two contested races have thrown up numeruous winners, wasnt beaten far over shorter last time out when hampered a little going into the final furlong and was running on and nearest at the finish suggesting the extra 2 furlongs of todays race will suite just fine. The winner went on to win again and two others from that race were next time out victors. In his previous race, finishing 6th, four of the five in front of him went on to win next time out. Currently 13/2 and about the same on betfair at a slightly driftng 7.8, win and place bet.......unplaced 6.50 Ffos Las. Neither the current form of the jockey or the trainer inspire confidence for this one so its all down to the horse! Zambezi Magic is the horse in question. All three of the geldings wins have come on turf with two of them over this course and distance. His winning marks in those victories were 67 and 63, poor form snce has seen his mark reduced to todays all time low of 47. Baeten 4 lengths last time over two furlong shorter was a decent performance in the light of his recent poor form and but for a poor start may well have been closer, back up to 10 furlongs today may see him in a better light. There is alittle bit of money around for him, 12 on the exchanges and hopefully around 3.4 tp place.........Non runner Good luck whatever you back or lay today. Emporio in the 7.30 Fairyhouse could be a stable switcher to watch. -
The favourite in the bumper at Hexham (5.48) has won his last three races which includes a point to point and two NHF races and despite the 7lb claimer riding him today still has to give weight away to the rest of the field. The options here included dutching the Pipe horse ( second favourite) with the once raced Lewesdon Dancer (9/1). In the end I plumped for backing Lewdson Dancer win and place on betfair. The mare ran green on her debut in a bumper at Kelso and although beaten around 8 lengths or so she was doing her best work at the business end of the race and may well improve for that experience, coupled with the assistance of Brian Hughes, win and place bet on Lewdson Dancer at around 11 and 2.8. Good luck today everyone.

4.25 Royal Ascot Notable Speech looks and exciting horse. Having won three times right handed on Kempton all weather he then stepped up to win the 2,000 Guineas in great style, the second home that day along with the sixth and ninth have all gone on to win Group Races with the third home going on to be runner up in the Irish 2000 Guineas, the fourth home then went on to finish fourth in the Qatar Prix du Jockey Club, the form could hardly be more impressive. Trading at around 2.44 on Betfair. 6.15 Royal Ascot A Piece Of Heaven in this very open looking handicap may be the way to go. You could argue that he hasnt beaten much and is too short a price but its the manner of last two vicotries that have caught the eye, he could hardly have been more impressive in either. He's gone up in the ratings from 85 to 101 quite quickly and now switched to Joseph O'Brien and still lightly raced for his age, if JO'B can eek out a little more improvement then he might just go close. Currently 7.6 on Betfair and around 2.3 to place. Good luck today whatever you back or lay. A couple of stable switchers: Forever William 3.55 Stratford 14/1 Zanndabad (IRE) 5.05 Ascot 11/2 -
7.00 Wetherby. The form of John L Sullivans runners up effort over course and distance has been franked to say the least, although he was easily beaten by Good Morning Alex that day that horse has won twice since, once in this grade (Class 6) and then again in a Class 4 Handicap and is now rated 75. John L Sullivan was rated 57 when second and is now just 2lb higher tonight. The 4th, 7th and 8th also went on to win next time out as well as the winner with the 3rd and 5th home being runners up next time out. Favourite for tonights race is Atlantic Gamble who broke his duck at the 5th time of asking with that form also being franked by the 4th placed horse who won next time up, Atlantic Gamble has yet to prove himself on turf so the percentage call is to back John L Sullivan to win and place, drifting somewhat on the exchanges he's currently trading at 5.9 and a currently estimated 2.38 in the place market.......................won comfortably at a Bfsp of 4.79 Good luck today whatever you may be on.

4.00Musselburgh Watcha Matey, upped in distance for the new season and wasnt soipping when winning a Class 4 at Newmatket, up 7lb for that but with the 3rd, 5th and 9th home that day all winning and the 2nd and 4th both running well in a hgher grade he might well be up to defying a penalty, 5.5 on betfair and around 1.88 the place (no liquidity as yet in theplace market)..........................WON at 5.26 and placed at 1.9 4.05 Worcester Thankyourl;uckystar takes on a Nicholls hotpot but should place, ran well in a slightly higher class last time and with the winner coming out and winning a Class 4 Handicap Chase, the 5th and 9th home that day also winning next time up in this grade and the 4th home runner up next time up, the form looks solid so it looks to be around evens in theplace market (again no liquidity as yet) and 5.6 to win............WON at 6.4 and Placed at 1.92 5.10 Tramore Implicit wasthe best of these over hurdles and is sure to be well schooled for his chase debut, short at 1.83 but....something amiss and pulled up 5.15 Epsom is an open looking race, Ziggy and Relentless Warrior could give us a run for our money......Relentless Warrior WON at 9.33 and placed at 3.25, Ziggy finished second placed at 2.4 5.55 Stratford Staifyouwantto demolished the opposition in a Maiden Hurdle at Hereford last time out and with the 3rd and 5th both coming out and winning their Maiden Hurdles next time up he may well be up to defying a penalty at 2.6 in the win market...............second place Some switchers at decent prices that may be worth a look, Good luck whatever you are on today. Updated results' Notes Double Oban 2.20 Worcester 11/2 Caughtinaspell (IRE) 3.30 Worcester 100/30 Borderline (IRE) 4.05 Worcester 14/1 Bajan New Moon 6.05 Hexham 10/1 Parr Fire (IRE) 8.20 Doncaster 18/1 -

In the 1.40 at Bangor Gabriels Getaway will take some stopping, won nicely at Exeter last night and providing the quick turnaround isnt a hinderence then the 5.8 and drfting on the exchanges is more than fair, win and place bet...NON RUNNER In the 2.40 at Newbury Chaldean is a worth favourite, the Dewhurst winner is proven on the ground and is a course and distance winner, currently trading around the 2.26 mark and drifting, the drift is not what I like to see from this stable but its a long time until the off.......😨 won, shame it left Frankie behind 🤣some bookies refunding stakes, very nice touch. Back to Bangor for the 3.25 where NothingToChance should run a big race here, looks to have gotten in lightly for his handicap debut of just 109, a saver also on Spirit of Regulus in the event of the breathing op working the oracle, first mentioned is trading at a drifting 3.7 and the latter at 6.8..... early unseated rider ffs, stuffed The Big one at Ayr, Scottish Grand National at 3.35 where Jonjo's Moonbeg Genius can give more than a good account, 3rd to the Grand National winner in the Ultima at Cheltenham he will find this a little easier and the step in tripmay well suite. Trading at around the 7.8 mark and 2.9 in the place market (3 places).....NON RUNNER 4.10 at Ayr, Serious Operator didnt fare to well in a Grade 2 Novice Hurdle last time but this is easier, around the 4.2 mark, a saver on Uhtred here at 6.8, Skeltons do like to win on a Saturday!...................................at last a change of luck and Serious Operator wins. 4.15 at Thirsk where Cold Stare is selected, this is his first run in a Class 5 handicap and off a career low mark of 74 (has won off 92), shaped well on his reappearance when 4th when given too much to do, has a great chance today to snap his long losing run, currently 7 on the exchanges and drifting, win and 2 place bet...............placed 2nd at a Bfsp of 3.2 In the last at Ayr, the 5.20 Lucky Seven could go well at around the 7 mark, won a shade comfortably last time and could go in again, win and 2 places..................2nd at Bfsp of 2.78 Good luck whatever you back or lay today. -
