Re: PL_Crewman | Sports-Punter Specialist Kempton 3:10 Possol Only been raced in two Class 3 Novice Chase events since taken away from France but still ran against higher class runners. He's taken around the trip today slowly and I think that is a good move. His French form was well withinn respectable and he has jockey Richard Johnson for the first time. Johnson and trainer H D Daly does well with chasers so Possol should be taken at such price. Daly and Johnson has 5 wins from 24 chases this year - 1 win from 14 hurdlers. The two also does better at the chase track here: Daly has 3 wins from 11 (0-8 hurdles) and Johnson has 8 wins from 38 (3-46 hurdles) the past 5 seasons. 2pts ew @ 25-1 Betfred Southwell 3:30 Distinctly Game He was able to reproduce his last run from last year for his first this year. Both wins and now going for the hat-trick. Those wins came at Lingfield and recently at Kempton but I doubt he will find this track diffcult. Trainer K A Ryan has the most wins at this course with 5 from 23 with the other courses at 3 wins from 26. Jockey booked is Kelly Harrison - 1-1-3 (W-2-3) from the last 8 runs. 10pts win @ 7-2 Boylsports Southwell 4:35 Inontime Handicap debut and still a maiden but she was able to do well with her few races. he was beaten 1/2 length last time by Royal Applord at this course and distance. Royal Applord followed up wih a 3rd of 5, beaten 1.25 lengths in a Class 4 handicap staying on by a short head to Evens favorite Grand Fleet. If she is able to improve from her latest she will be able to give the favorite alot of work to do. 5pts ew @ 8-1 Betterbet Southwell 4:35 Mac Dalia Won two sellers here (5) from her last three runs - total course form is 3-1-1, all 5f. Trainer A J McCabe has this for the usual course to send runners in - 6 wins from 31 this year. The distance appears to be a big concern for Mac Dalia but I think she is trained well for it. McCabe has 5 wins from 20 that raced 7f-1m this year - 3 wins from 30 with the rest. The had a 25 to 1 winners with their last runner at Southwell two days ago. They've also had big priced runners able to beat other horses. 4 of 9 at 25-1 and 150-1 and another placed in 3rd at 17-2. Record here at night for Brittain is 2 wins from 5 runs and for Lawson is 2 wins from 5 runs. 2pts ew @ 33-1 Bet365 BOG Wolverhampton 8:20 Smirfys Systems Trainer E S McMahon has one win from two runs at night here for the year. Smirfys Systems should improve from his first run at the course and distance last time. He hung right in the final furlong and could have finished better than his 3rd of 8, beaten 4 lengths. Jockey Stephen Donohoe takes over from Tony Hamilton and that move coud be a winning one. It was still a good effort as he was able to run well in the closing stages, plus much was expected that day. He is not as favored for today but with plenty of experience and most success here I think he is worth to take the chance with. 5pts ew @ 8-1 Betfred Wolverhampton 7:50 Joe Jo Star Trainer B P J Baugh has two wins and three third-placed finishers from twelve runs at night here for the year. Baugh has another runner here with Bobering and the two runners has there best weather performance at this course. Joe Jo Star last raced in the Flat last April and was only beaten by 3/4 length. Jockey Andrew Elliot has only one win from twelve here at night but the distance is where he does best. Elliot in races between 7f-1m has 6 wins from 25 this year - 5 from 19 with runners aged 4yo+. Elliot as other distances has 5 wins from 39. 3pts ew @ 18-1 Betterbet Wolverhampton 7:50 Korty Trainer W J Musson has a good mark at night here - 4 runs for 1-1-1 (W-2-3) this year. Korty is the only runner tonight for Musson. This looks to a good time to back Musson because his daytime record for the year is only goes for 17 runs 1-1-2 (W-2-3). Jockey booked is Steve Drowne. Drowne has been in good form recently having ridden one win and two second from the last five. Bad thing is Drowne has zero win from six runs at this course for the year but does have two second and one third. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Ladbrokes Wolverhampton 7:50 Ponte Vecchio Third visit to this course - 4th of 5 and 2nd of 10 in previous two. Ponte Vecchio has been in his best shape since December last year and worth to go with here today. Trainer J R Boyle was able to send a winner earlier in the day he's been in good form lately. He defeated the 4-5 favorite on his last run by 2.50 lengths at Wolverhampton. He has raced here three times and his best was a 2nd of 13 in maiden company, only 6th on next two (handicap). Trainer T D Barron has won the last three sent out - Doubtful Sound included. 5pts ew @ 7-1 Sportingbet Southwell 1:30 Lord Of The Reins Won LTO and comes in with a form of 5-1-3 after a win. He's not raced here since his debut where his finished last of 8 runners but today is different. He's been running well for a while now and I think he can handle this course much better than last time. Trainer D Shaw has this course as the only one with a profitable mark all year. Has to be respected with Shaw doing so well at his distance all year. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Bet365 Southwell 2:30 Squiffy One win and two third-place from four 2m runs lifetime, first in Jun28 last year. Trainer P A Blockley has 5 wins from 17 here all year and just 1 win from 24 at the other courses. Jockey Stephen Donohoe has 3 wins from 10 for Blockley this year. Donohoe have also done well here this year - 5 wins from 24. 5pts ew @ 11-2 VC Bet Southwell 3:00 Whistful Miss Had a tough task on return 3 days ago after being out since last November. She was defeated by nearly 10 lengths in a Class 6 Handicap that had a dead heat for the winner - Seductive Witch and Wynberg. This today should be found easier than last time - jockey Jimmy Quinn has one win from one 3yo at this course this year. 3pts ew @ 16-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 3:30 Dudley Docker Did very well last year when taking a drop in trip. 2-4-1-2 in three occasions it happened and all was for 7f with the previous trips at 8-8-9-8 furlongs. He finished 2nd by 1/2 length at this course from the 1m trip. Has been inconsistent this year but the field does not offer alot of solid form to encounter. 10pts win @ 1.98 Betfair Southwell 3:30 Obe Royal Has a couple of wins since jockey Richard Evans becamse usual rider last December - 7-2-1-4-2-1-4. He is the more consistent runner from this field of 4 and has to be liked to take this event. Trainer and jockey combo won their last try at this course and distance, Feb6. The last two 7f runner for trainer P D Evans won their races. 10pts win @ 3-1 Sportingbet Southwell 4:00 Silver Sprite Trainer won his last 11f runner - Kempton yesterday. Jockey Tolley Dean takes over for Dean McKeown and it could be a good move with Dean topping the list for most with for Shaw this year. Silver Sprite have not raced this far but could find it easier with more time to go slow. His last run was not awful even with it ending in 5th of 7. There was no room to get past more than two but was in good shape when stayed on late in the race. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Paddy Power Southwell 4:00 Space Pirate First run this year with his last run last year for 9th of 9 for his all weather debut at Wolverhampton. He did well on soft ground before that, finished 3rd of 15 by 1.75 lengths. Trainer J Pearce had a winner with the only run yesterday, 13f at Lingfield. Space Pirate should benefit from the booking of jockey Jimmy Quinn. Quinn has two wins, three second, and one third from fourteen runs with a 3yo this year. 3pts ew @ 16-1 BetDirect Southwell 4:30 Mister Benji Has a very good chance today especially with jockey Phillip Makin back on board. Mister Benji raced in an Apprentice Only race last time, finished 2nd of 7 at Wolverhampton (9f). His previous three was with Makin and progress was being made then - 5-5-3. It was not an easy win but the effort looked good enough to be considred for this event. Re: Best Bet of The Day | Wed 6th Feb Kempton 6:50 Unlimited Won his only visit to this course - January 13, 2008. He was the 33-1 winner than day passing Royal Envoy (3-1) and Faithful Ruler (5-4F). Next run 7 days later was for 2nd of 12, beaten 2 lengths by Xpress Maite at Wolverhampton. With the return to this course and still having the same jockey from the last two I think he can do alot of good today. 5pts ew @ 17-2 Blue Square

He's shown too much in the last (C&D) to expect a bad outing - led last 50 yards thanks to a strong finish. Jockey Seb Sanders in not on like last time but Chris Catlin is far from a downgrade. Monadreen Flyer's all weather form has been improving since last September so I think today will have another good run. It was his handicap debut finishing last by 36 lengths as he was eased in the final furlong at Yarmouth. His maiden record was much better with that form at 4-2-2-1. Wolverhampton for 4th, Haydock for 2nd, and Lingfield (AW) for 2nd and 1st. He has been with the same trainer all his racing career so I think he will enjoy the return here. One of her better runs was her second start when she finished 2nd of 7 by 2 lengths to Cute Ass. Cute Ass followed that run with three placed runs in a Listed and Grade 2 and 3. Really did well in this month last year having one win and two second from three runs, all Class 2 events here. He's only been in Class 4 races this year but maybe because his last run last year was in August. Trainer P A Blockley has been his trainer since 2004 so I believe this rise to Class 3 is well planned. Owner Nigel Shields has a good record this year - 19 runs for 3-3-4 (W-2-3). Stephen Donohoe is scheduled to be on board for the first time but I think it will not be a neagative - Donohoe has 4 wins from 9 runs for Blockley on the all weather lifetime. Petrosian won here last March by 2 lengths at the 1m3f trip - he has one win and one third from three all weather runs. Those two placed efforts was here while the unplaced run was his all weather debut at Wolverhampton. 5pts ew @ 15-2 Betterbet Southwell 4:10 Three Boars Made a run in a Class 4 handicap (0-85) and was beaten 14.50 lengths that day, two weeks ago. He was doing well before that, 1-2-2-1, so his chances back at this is really good. His lifetime form at the track has 8 runs for 4-2-1 (W-2-3). All those runs have been with current trainer S Gollings so expecting another good run is not a bad idea. 10pts win @ 4-1 Totesport Southwell 4:40 Orpen´s Art In good shape this year - has one win and one second from two runs. The win came when jockey Kirsty Milczarek was on board at this course and distance. LTO had Declan Cannon and Orpen´s Art just lost by a neck in a good finish against Baytown Blaze at Kempton, 5f. Milczarek is back so Orpen´s Art's best should be expected. Owned by Matthew Green. Green does very well in the all weather and has Orpen´s Art for the only runner today. LTO was as race here and he managed to finish 2nd of 6, beaten 1/2 length by Mac Dalia - first time with jockey Chris Catlin. The weights for the Mac Dalia meets was set the same for both race: 8-9 for Mac Dalia and 8-12 for Wild Bill Tracey.
