The first two was at Wolverhampton, 9f. The latest was at this course and distance for a win against the favorite by a half length. I like how he managed to win so quickly and I think he has many more to come. This race has a some good rivals but his progress is too good to pass up. Same course, jockey, distance and weight from last time. 10pts win @ 4-1 Betterbet Kempton 8:20 Sudden Impulse She finished 2nd by just a head here last time - just held after giving a strong challenge the last 100 yards. This longer trip should suit based on that effort and she might be the surprise winner if able to reproduce that last run here. She followed that up with a 4th of 5 6 days later but I think the trip of 1m4f50y was just too far as she had nothing to give in the last furlong. Again, her best run the past 4 runs (since 02Dec07) was at this course and distance so the price is worth the gamble. 3pts ew @ 12-1 Bet365 BOG Kempton 8:50 Not Now Lewis Course and Distance winner last time out - 20 days ago. His form at this course has most of his better efforts - 3-4-2-1 - 2 thirds from 6 runs at other course. Price currently generous at around 6-1 to 7-1 is too big here. Trainer J A Osborne has been in good form an even with the recent runners failing to win it is still worth to follow. Re: PL_Crewman | Sports-Punter Specialist Kempton 6:50 Ballyhealy Lady Ran well last time (Jan25) when ended up being 5th of 8, beaten 3.25 lengths by Wynberg. That was her first run since last August and is currently the closest finish she ever got to the winner. On her 6th race and may have enough to take a Handicap on her second start there. Trainer D K Ivory has been in very good form so I think Ballyhealy Lady is ready to improve on her second run after a layoff. Ivory has a form of 1-2-1-3-6 from the last 5 runners going into today - one ran a 6f race and won. 3pts ew @ 12-1 Bet365 BOG

N J Henderson has a runner, Trompette and could do better than the rest after a couple of Grade runs from her last three (11th and 5th). There is a N J Henders/Mick Fitzgerald (Ship's HIll @ 16-1) who was pulled up last time but had a third and 21 length win before that. A King/Robert Thornton (Dan Buoy @ 18-1) looks to be in good shape with his last two being for 1st and 3rd. Jonjo O'Neill (Thunder Rock @ 22-1) has Dougie Costello for jockey who has 2 wins from 3 hurdle runs here. Trainer Miss H Lewis has 3 wins from 7 hurdle runs here and goes with National Trust (but I only like this one to be placed at best). Trainer Mrs A M Thorpe has one runner for today and it is Valiant Shadow at 25-1. He was able to get 3rd when given room but it was all too late. Last time was his first Class 3 test after having been successful in Class 4's. I think he'll have enough of what is needed especially with jockey N Callan booked for today. The last two runners at the C&D for trainer I A Wood finished 4th of 7 (33-1) in a Class 5 Handicap and 1st of 7 (20-1) in a Class 7 Classified Stakes. 3pts ew @ 14-1 Sportingbet

Progress was also going in the right direction when went on break - 8-5-2 is his lifetime form. Trainer K R Burke has the most wins this year when jockey Andrew Elliot is on board. Burke also has 3 wins from 12 runs with 3yo's at distances of 5f-6f this year. 5pts ew @ 6-1 Bet365 BOG Lingfield 2:15 Eagle Nebula Alone at topweight but I think his team knows he is ready. Trainer B R Johnson usually has this course used for his all weather runners - 125 runs the past 5 seasons, 32 runs is 2nd most. Johnson with jockey Dane O'Neill has 7 wins from 42 all weather runs - most runs and wins with any jockey the past 5 seasons. Re: PL_Crewman | Sports-Punter Specialist Haydock 2:45 Miko De Beauchene Stablemate The Listener was able to be well prepared for his race just 6 days ago and I expect the same for Miko De Beauchene. He raced too well on his last two to not be considered for today. Finished 2nd of 20 at Newbury in November 30th last year after not being raced for nearly 8 months. Followed that with a Grade 3 win at the Chepstow Coral Welsh National - fought Halcon Genelardais to win by a head, third was 16 lengths behind the two. 5pts ew @ 8-1 Sportingbet Uttoxeter 3:50 Wanango Only has 4 chase runs but they've been against tough competitions. He comes in from Ireland after having been 1-4-4-2 from his chase runs over there. The two 4ths are in Grade 1 events - both lost to Shicnlers Hunt by 14.50 lengths at Leopardstown. Others in this race have shown inconsistency with their efforts and Wanango does not. She has one win and third and also an unplaced second from three runs this year. The last two (1st and 2nd place) have been at Southwell but he does have a good record here. First run of the year was here for a 3rd of 8 Obe Royal and Sir Douglas. Has 2 wins and 2 third from 9 lifetime runs here.
