Sanders has 2 wins from 6 runs for trainers S Dow's 3yo on the all weather the past 5 seasons. The Trainer and Jockey combo had a 3rd of 12 (20-1) in a Maiden Stakes at this course (7f) one week ago. Sanders also has the best course record the past 5 seasons from the rest of the jockeys when it comes to 3yo's here. 34 wins from 159 runs (21%) and the rest combined goes for 18 wins from 210 (9%) - that is not something than can easily be ignored. The experience of Sanders just shows he knows how to lead these type of horses when here by a wide margin over the rest so the gamble is worth it at the price offered. 2pts ew @ 66-1 Sportingbet

She had her best outing of the year last time to it might be a good idea to go with her here. Her last winning run was held here last July from the 5f mark Finished second last time out at the course and distance. Thoughtsofstardom does not have the weakest form going in as he finished 3rd of 8 the last two runs - 5f at Wolverhampton and Southwell. Maggie Kate is still a maiden but I think she has enough to cause problems for the rivals here if able to go the same like last time. She should be stronger today after trying trying to chase Rapidity last time. Jockey on board for the time Robert Havlin has 2 wins from 5 runs for trainer R Ingram this year. Ingram has 3 wins from 5 runs here this year - including the last runner sent out winning at the C&D (Feb15). 5pts ew @ 8-1 Sportingbet Lingfield 3:35 Dubai Ace Taken up two Class for today but the latest efforts are good enough for me to expect a good run today. His last two has been at this course and distance - 2nd of 7 (Jan23) and 1st of 11 (Feb13). Topweight at 9-10 when he won by 1.50 lengths to Salut Saint Cloud - 3rd was another 5 lengths behind. I think he's fit enough to compete at this level and getting the least weight at 8-8 will definitely help his chances. Trainer Miss Sheena West has 4 wins from 11 runs this month. There is no jockey change scheduled for today, Neil Chalmers returns for the third straight race - Chalmers has a form of 1-1-3-1-6 from the last 5 for West. 5pts ew @ 8-1 William Hill Lingfield 4:40 Caribana Won her first run of the year (Jan25) to get the maiden tag off. This will be her first run here but I think she is ready for it - trainer M A Jarvis has 3 wins from 8 runs here this year. The last two 10f runners from Jarvis was able to win their events - the last being here. Jockey N Callan is booked for today and he currently has 3 wins from 3 runs for Jarvis this year. Stablemate Bold Diva is also entered but One Called Alice had some good efforts from her 5 career runs - not been raced since October 29, 2007. She finished 4-3-5-3 from the all weather runs - all at Wolverhampton - and her last outing was for an 8th of 17 but that was on turf. Carroll has one win from two runs with a 3yo here this year - 4 wins from 19 the past 5 seasons. One Called Alice gets to be the lightweight at 8-4 and gets a jockey with a 7lb claimer. 2pts ew @ 28-1 Stan James

He travelled well but being a Class 2 Novices' Hurdle on Boxing Day is a tough place for a debut. Cost to get him into jumps was 105,000gns last year so his expectations is likely to be well above this Maiden today. Trained by P F Nicholls and will have jockey R Walsh for the first time. Trainer and jockey has a good record here in the past 5 seasons - 24% strike rate for Nicholls from 149 runs and 29% from 38 runs for Walsh. 10pts win @ 3.60 Betfair Taunton 3:20 Fabulous Jet Chasing form is 3-4-1 - won by 13 lengths in a Class 4 at Hereford, 2m. Step up one Class but jockey on board last time is back today - his two other runs had different jockeys. Any other bookie?[/quote'] Betfred has BOG's in selected races - even if it is a limited number they sometimes offer a better price than other bookmakers - such as Climate at 14-1 with them today and it was around 9-1 to 10-1 with the rest.. I only used Bet365 for this and did not know about Boylsports and Stan James until now - thanks for the info. -

West have sent 4 on the all weather since the Feb10 and they finished 1st, 1st, 3rd, and 1st. Doctor Ned was the 3rd-placed runner from those four. A total of three different runners was in that four - Smokey The Bear raced twiced and won both. All four had jockey Neil Chalmers - on board again for Doctor Ned. Doctor Ned is taking a step up to a Selling Stakes from a Classified Stakes but I think it's something the trainer can adapt for. 2pts ew @ 50-1 Boylesports

Return to this trip of 1m should also help - 4th and 2nd from two lifetime runs at 1m. He's been raced at 7f, 6f, and 6f since his last mile run and finished 8-6-10 at those trips. 10pts win @ 4-1 BetDirect Lingfield 2:25 Thermidor First run since last September and will be making his all weather debut. His jockey from the two career runs does not change for today and I like that. Jockey Richard Kingscote has been in very good form this month and should be able to allow Termidor to have a good day. Kingscote has 3 wins and 3 thirds from the last 10 - win and third from two with a 3yo. Kingscote at this course from that 10 race span has 2 wins and 1 third from 4 tries. 2pts ew @ 40-1 Betfred Lingfield 3:00 Best One Consistent with his efforts last year and showed improvement on two runs this year. He has two runs at this course and distance this year for an 8th of 12 (Class 4) and 4th of 10 (Class 5). Back to this Class will help and also gets the same jockey (Hayley Turner) from last time. Trainer C E Brittain is also in very good form likely to have Best One in good shape today. Brittain for the last three sent out has a 2nd of 12 (5-1), 5 of 14 (20-1) and 3 of 12 (25-1) - all three raced at Nad Al Sheba. 10pts win @ 5-2 Bet365 BOG Lingfield 3:00 Obe Royal Course debut but maybe being taken down one Class will help. He's also done well this year having two wins and one second from six runs - 1-4-2-1-4-3. His effort last time against tougher runners looked good enough to take this event today. There is no change in jockey so his efforts being of similar from this year should not change. Trainer P D Evans is also having a good time with the 7f runners - 1-1-3-2-7-5-2-1 since February 4th. 5pts ew @ 17-2 Betfred BOG Lingfield 3:00 Wadnagin Been out for three months but trainer form has to be conisdered for this type of event. Trainer I A Wood have not had a 7f runner here recently but did have thee mile runners to do very well. Those three mile runners finished 4 of 7 (33-1), 1st of 7 (20-1), and 1 of 12 (10-1). Jockey James Doyle was on board one of the winners - 20-1. Doyle has experience with Wadnagin and they are for a 4 of 11 (4th run) and 6 of 13 (11th run) - both for a loss of 2.75 lengths at Wolverhampton, 6f. 3pts ew @ 14-1 Betfred BOG Lingfield 4:10 Climate Looks to be heading to be well out of winning form but a return to this course may enable to have him regain the winning form. 8 runs for 2-3-0 (W-2-3) here lifetime. Trainer and Jockey has a good record this year as a combo - 5 wins from 19 with older runners. I like that effort enough to be picked for this Amateur Riders event. Trainer P W Hiatt still has a very good record with the 1m4f runners and the only one to not be placed from the last 5 that made that trip is Ben Bacchus. Savile´s Delight looks good for this one. 3:30 Claiming Stakes for age 4+ 5 Races: 1 favorite won (13-8) Other winners had SP's of 3-1, 4-1, 85-40, 3-1. Forecast and/or Tricast with the top three market leaders? His first and only try at a 3m trip was a big dissapointmet but I think he is capable of lasting that long with time given. The 3m test was his first Graded race and it was a Grade 1 so it was no easy task - finished 5th of 12. Savile´s Delight looks good for this one. 3:30 Claiming Stakes for age 4+ 5 Races: 1 favorite won (13-8) Other winners had SP's of 3-1, 4-1, 85-40, 3-1. Forecast and/or Tricast with the top three market leaders? Grimes Faith and Celeveland in any order for my 1&2 if I had to bet. 4:30 1m Handicap for age 4+ excluding 'Fillies Only' race. 2 Races: Winners at SP's of 12-1 (Class6) and 9-1 (Class4) both drawn 4. His average winning margin is 2.50 - all three was won by 2.50 lengths. First two was from the same Class Handicap today - 6. The latest (also LTO) was in a Class 5. Penalty and all he has done too well here to be avoided. 2-1 is currently the best price available

Trainer P W Hiatt has been in good form all month and most of the success have been here - 2-1-2-1-2. Jockey on board Amazing Day is in very good form - three wins and one second from the last nine runs. Amazing Day had a rough time last time out but not being raced since July last year may have played a role in that. He was a two time winner that year and his chances to add on today should not be ignored just because of his last run. Harris has jockey Stephen Donohoe for this one.
