  1. Re: Beef Or Salmon Hope your right Jeffers... This years GC has cut up horribly tho... While your theory is right, I think that, come the day, the world and his wife will be out to lay B&S which might mean u get to lay at an unfairly inflated price... Sure it will run tho - gd luk.

  2. Has a reasonable shape to it for each-way betting... Unlike the vast majority of Top Class Sprinters, these listed types are a little more consistent.... For me, whilst Indian whatisface could win easily, he only really looked good in the last furlong over 6 at Chester last time.... At 9/2 with Sporting Odds, I'm gonna have a small each way bet on Maltese Falcon.... On my ratings, he pips Boogie Street who isn't quite as consistent, with Indian thing 3rd... I've got these 3 clear so seems fairly risk free.... Famous last words... Good luck all:D

  3. Re: Tennis : Wimbledon 2005 (20th June - 3rd July) Watched Bjorkmam vs Rusedski live in Australia at Melbourne this year... Best game I have ever seen 'live'... Unquestionably he is getting on, will probably have mental support (as in oz - gave them a solo of, "your not singing anymore" as Rusedski broke in the 4th set!) but it's impossible to tell.... I've just realised i've been of no help whatsoever but I guess what I'm aying is that I'd leave this match well alone!:\

  4. Re: Tennis : French Open (23rd May to 5th June) Don't know why I should want to show my miserable tennis betting face in here again this tournament but think this particular bet certainly represents good value and can be laid off later in the Women's Tournament. 6/1 available with Coral & Stan James.... Lindsey Davenport to win French Open - 6/1 Her head to head record vs her 1/4 final opponent Mary Pierce is 8-2. Granted these matches happened a littlew while ago but at the time Pierce was one of the best players in the world so I do expect Davenport to win. In the semi final Davenport will be playing either the 15yo from Bulgaria whom I know nothing about (she won their only previous meet this year) or Likhovtseva the number 16 seed whom she leads 8-0 on previous meets.... Henin is probably the most likely winner but she has already survived 2 match points this tourament and if Sharapova does get to the final, Davenport beat her without conceding a game in January this year - all be it on hard. Against the other 2 possible final opponents Davenport would be a strong favourite. All this said, I am hoping that the gorgeous Ana Ivanovic wins for the good of men everywhere! Check out the pics on her Official Website! :ok :eek

  5. Re: Tennis : French Open (23rd May to 5th June) For any1 that is following Edith's tips rather than mine Kuerten is a disturbing 4/5 at Betfair.... No one quein up to back him either whilst there's currently plenty for Sanchez at slightly under the 5/4 being offered redily by many a traditional Bookmaker.... Al things being equal, Kuerten should win this match fairly convincingly.... However, (paranoid? yes.) I'm really starting to worry about all things being equal! Good Luck to all. Seems that most are off to a good start. PS. ATP site is playing up big time. As in I can't even get on it!:wall

  6. Re: Tennis : French Open (23rd May to 5th June) Right - I'm making a comeback after that blazing cnut Puerta shoved me off the tennis bettiung market with hte stinking game in Houston vs Melzer..... Melzer's subsequent results have appeased me slightly but whatever else is said the betting patterns in that game stank! Kuerten to beat Sanchez. 4/6 @ Billy Hills. Not the force he was but with the croud behind him and never having failed to reeach the 4th round in his 'proper' career he should have too much for the Spanish journeyman. Starting with 100 points. I promise that once it's gone I won't be bothering you on this thread again! Good Luck to all.:clap Starting Bank - 100 Points

  7. Re: Tennis. W/C 18.04.05 Honestly, that's me - I'm done with it. V V strange betting patterns in the Massa, Vacek game to..... Only one bookie left betting on it and although it's not as drastic as yesterday's farce Massa is out from 1.5 to 2.2 upwards already.... This despite having won their previuos encounter on clay 2 and 1. Tennis bettin is alot of work for what will generally be a limited return. U only need to be against a couple of bad results to be behind... When these results then appear to be fixed you hav to ask yourself is it worth the hassle. Un4tunately I've decided no. Was the Puerta farce reported on in the Racing Post or hav they decided to cover it up?

  8. Re: Tennis. W/C 18.04.05 Well i for one won't be betting on tennis again..... What a stitch up! Melzer into 1.33 b4 the off, Puerta out to 4.0... Bookies all over the world banning betting on the match.... Rumours abound all over the place... I hope this gets investigated and the ATP ban the **** for life... I am so monumentally pissed off with this shite.... See Betfair forum if your not up to speed....:@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@

  9. So I can see why the bookies hate taking tennis bets..... Not prepared to up my stakes though... Phychologically not ready too!! Looks desperate in Europe but there's three I like in the US. Apologies for lack of write up but I'm v nearly l8 4 work! Puerta to beat Melzer 1.67 Massa to beat Vanek 1.50 Ginepri to beat Fish 1.58 All at Betfair. Bookies may well priec these up throughout the day so you may well beat the crappy odds I got! 25 Points on all of the above as per usual. 100 point starting bank as per usual. GL any1 who can be arsed to get involved. Still Hungover.:puke
