Re: Tennis Masters Series : Monte Carlo (11th April - 17th April) Just one for me tomorrow unless sum1 prices up the women's event in time. This having been said, the way my beeatches played today I'm not gonna get over excited. Stepanek should see off Hanescu without too much trouble. I could make an argument that he is a better player on clay, he certainly seen more tennis this year and is in better form, was a better player last year and also won their last match easily. Victor Chnadler have him on the drift to 8/13 and seem out of line with everyone else. Starting Bank, 100 Points Current Bank, 146.13 Points. Normal 25 Points on the above.

Here's hoping then.Razzano @ 8/13 to beat Raymond looks good. She beat four solid players at her last meet before falling to Farina Elia who is in amazing form. Clay is by far her best surface and at 21 she is arguably improving. I would argue that her opponent Raymond is on the decline at 31... She would apear to hate playing on clay too... If current & previous form as well as a 2-0 H2H record has any bearing then Farina Elia at 2/7 should turn over Kostanic with the minimum of fuss. She just doesn't sem to lose to anyone bar the top players on clay. Too short for a single though... Finally Marrero is 3-0 up on Medina on H2Hs. They are both Spanish and since these victories Medina has probably passed Marrero in terms of ability. However, I believe they are still closely matched and think Marrero can edge it on clay. Therefore 11/8 just has to be too big. So to sum up we are looking at a pretty big day tomorrow! Fortunatly I'll be at work and won't be subjected to too much stress!! Ferrer to beat Hrbaty, 25 points @ 1.62 (BF) Razzano to beat Raymond, 25 points @ 8/13 (Lads) Marrero to beat Medina, 25 points @ 11/8 (Lads) Puerta to best Moya, 25 points @ 2.82 (BF) Ferrer(8/15), Razzano(8/13) & Farina Elia (2/7), 25 point treble (Lads) Best of luck to everyone. :ok

For me so far, I'm going for Ferrer to beat Hrbaty at 1.65(BF) and Puerta to beat Moya at 2.82(BF). Also trying to find someting to double up Costa with but am currently coming up short. Despite a collapse in a recent final and a jammy result vs Malisse (still bitter!:@ ) Ferrer is unquestionably one of the form players on the tour. On his previous meet with Hrbaty on clay, he triumphed 3 and 0. As for Hrbaty, for someone so consistent and highly ranked in the world he really does suck the donkeys dick on clay!! He also has a girls name. :rollin Providing Ferrer has come out of his last match ok and isn't knackered the 1.65 is far too big. I'd make him a 1/3 shot on this occasion. As regards Puerta, he has just won a final playing good tennis throughout and has been v v consistent whilst living on clay. Moya is class on clay and is arguably the most likely winner. However, at 2.82 Puerta is unquestioonabely worth a punt. Maybe I'm missing something here but he has met Moya twice this year - both on clay. He has won both matches, 7-6, 6-3 and 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. No idea what I am missing here....:o Gd Luck to all. Not convinced by the Clay Court season thus far...

Puerta looks a better player than Volandri this year and would appear to be a confidence player... He has also beaten him once alrady this year on the Red Stuff. 0.64 at Betfai and will put me in the black for the week - just!:hope

Bit like Texas Hold'em this tennis betting.... Much easier when your ahead. Great call on Zvonerava Edith. Would much rather not have been involved.:clap

Re: Random Tennis Tournies..... Guess what put me onto Zvonrerava was the ease she won their previous meet in 2004. Granted on hard she triumphed 6-2, 6-2. Highly probable I place too much emphasis on H2H record's but until it breaks I'm gonna stick with it. More than aware, athough I play, I don't hold an in-depth enough knowledge to bet on tennis profitabely any other way! Gd Luk all as always.:hope

Ther is no real explanations I can give for these other than they can both play on the surface at least as well as their opponents and are better players than them!!! Petrova to beat Maleeva @ 1.5 Zvonerava to beat Peng @ 1.47 :o Both @ Betfair. Both to win please:notworthy

Instead I am reliant on 2 mens matches to get me back in the black for these tournamnets.... Kuerten to beat Martin - 8/13 at Bet 365 Vacek to beat opponent! - managed to get .54 at Betfair. 3 of 'em about to start. Sorry to be vague but I'm not very organised as I type!! Feel Santoro is a good bet to beat Vacek who practically lives on clay. However, I just feel Santoro is a higher class and is available at 8/11 at VC. Maybe better elsewhere and has donenothing but drift on Betfair since I backed it! My only other bet is Frazier to beat Jidkova at only 1.5 at Betfair. Just a different league and has always been ranked about 40 places above her opponent. Will try to keep a record but basically will be starting with 100 points and betting 25 on each bet unless stated otherwise. Once it's gone, I'll be getting my coat and quitting tennis betting until the French Open! (promise!)

Re: Tennis Masters Series : Nasdq-100 Open Fair do's. Can't argue with much of that! U make an excellent point tho which is, I suppose a problem with the forum.... U were prepared to lose 100 Points on the Nasdaq and in many ways u had writen the money off (v sensible) and wanted to achieve at least a 50% profit margin. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it is difficult to take any tip objectively without knowing the whole picture. Well done again tho.:ok

Re: Tennis Masters Series : Nasdq-100 Open Well done m8. A healthy profit shown on the week..... However, surely your staking plan needs a little work.... Twice, when struggling u came up with the goods with 100 point bets, both of which, had they lost would have taken you out of the game... This would have meant you would have missed the rest of the tournament from a betting perspective. Personally, I don't feel that many will follow this sort of logic. If it works for you, and you have the balls to carry it out - good 4 u but it's only a step away from chasing loses surely....? Your analysis is often the best I have seen on here for any sport - (even if I don't always agree) but a level stake (or less eratic staking plan) profit/loss would probably produce a bigger following.... Please don't take offence - only trying to stimulate disscussion really. I am a complete opposite and arguabely have too much discipline - never having the balls to go for the occasional bigger bet.... PS. Santoro is too big at 1.63 to beat Vacek on the clay today! 1,000000 points on it!! (I'm taking the piss obviously:tongue2 ;) - the points (not the bet!))

Re: Tennis Masters Series : Nasdq-100 Open Have already posted concerning Nadal for the French Open in this thread! Knew I'd get sucked into one last bet but Clijsters at 4/6 to beat Shrapova is ok. Regardless of the players abilities, should KC win this convincingly it maybe the last time we get half decent odds over her for the rest of the year. Not only has she not dropped a set but only 19 games in 6 matches. 5 of these against seeded players. Good Luck.

Re: Tennis Masters Series : Nasdq-100 Open I'm on. Not dropped a set as yet and seems to be killing opponents. 14-1 for the year and Mauresmos gorgeous QF victim was apparently making alot of unforced errors. 1.6 at Betfair was just too tempting.

Granted, I was hoping for slightly better odds than 1/2 and have t4 kept my powder dry so far. Any opinions out there on this one? KC should win but given the size of AM.... Of the rest Agassi was tempting but is only 1/3 in a place. That place being Stanleys so I would imagine it has gone after the cleaner had £3 on.

Re: Tennis Masters Series : Nasdq-100 Open Nadal at 8/15 is slightly overpriced and therefore worth a shout. As Edkth has pointed out much more elequently than I ever could, he is a different class to T Johansson. At the moment, at the current odds and subject to the draw I'm thinking about backing Nadal for the French Open.... Just for small stakes. I know he' snot the most likely winner but 12/1 is too big IMHO. Will hopefully be waking up in the morning with 2 winning bets. Was also interested in Sharapova to beat Venus at 4/6 but I'm not risking getting done by someone who has just beaten the true World No.1!! Bit gutted to find out Serena had points for the 2nd set as I have no doubt she would have won the third with the momentum....

Just can't see the following losing and both seem to hold the Indian Sign over their respective opponents. Henman to beat Stepanek Clijsters to best annonymous Russian 1/3 & 2/7 was the best I could do. Pays rubbish but have spent far too long looking to only have one bet today!!! (Mug Punter Talk I Know!!:cry )

Some things however are too obvious to miss and whether this bet wins or not it's worth a punt based on the head to head record alone. The usual 25 points will just about take me level again for the 2nd tourney in a row. Gaudio to beat Nadal 6/5 (bet direct)
