  1. Kind comments. Thank you Chris. Sounds stupid to say but my biggest problem has always been wanting to win too badly for OTHER people, rather than myself. Today was another frustrating day where I had a couple of winners but unfortunately again they were obviously not ones I put up on the forum. Two of them were in France, one in the UK but c'est la vie that's the way sometimes it will go.
  2. Fair play Mc you are an incredible stats man and your work you do on this site is pretty amazing, Take a bow sir, you are a star. Speaking of tough starts to the year, my big bubble on the forum when I first started posting is I feel nearly burst. Still a word of warning to the wise, will always be a dangerous man to ignore completely. Maybe my healthy betting bank is just not focusing me enough, probably start banging in the winners again when I'm skint. Lol.
  3. Have covered Eternal Echo with Carrigmoorna Beech in reverse forecast for the last at Limerick just in case, eh.
  4. Had Raffles Wonder covered, what was Gavin Sheehan doing on Fearless Action. ??
  5. Hope I'm not the only one already excited for the showpiece in just under 2 weeks, and looking forward to seeing the final field of 34. Think Chris is spot on saying class has now come into it more than ever now, granted the usual fair slice of luck too getting over the fences. My early thoughts are already up in ante post selections thread and hoping my 40/1 each way wager gives me a run along with whatever else I back on the day (providing it or they line up). Hold on to your hats chaps, Aintree is coming.
  6. Carlisle 3.55 GANAPATHI @ 16/1 (general) Thank you.
  7. Morning all. A 9/2 advised winner with ANDY AMO and a 14/1 each way placed with Ashington (5th) were yesterday's efforts. These are my selections for today: Carlisle 2.45 FEARLESS ACTION e/w @ 8/1 (generally) 3 places (rev. f/cst with Captain Ivan and those reversed with Raffles Wonder in 2 x tri-casts) Carlisle 3.55 SEAN OG e/w @ 15/2 (coral/ladbrokes) 3 places (rev. f/cst with Yealand and those reversed with Ganapathi in 2 x tri-casts) Limerick 4.38 MADE IN THE WOODS @ 11/2 (generally) Limerick 5.13 ETERNAL ECHO e/w @ 9/1 (generally) 3 places Enjoy your day, best of luck all. * French selections up for anyone interested.
  8. Some French fun to start my betting day off, I have placed asterix's by what I feel MIGHT be the best bet: ** Auteuil 12.58 GOLIADOR e/w @ 7/1 (generally) 2 places Auteuil 3.25 LILLOU e/w @ 12/1 (bet 365) 5 places
  9. Brilliant stuff and very well done Rob, keep it up. Will openly admit at the moment I am struggling in general, but I know when I REALLY need to win some money I will find winners. Keep hitting the forum members with those ratings my friend, you are very often spot on with great prices too. 👍
  10. Don't think the Irish horse selections handled the ground unfortunately, at least ANDY AMO obliged at an advised 9/2.
  11. Just seen previous post from Robski. Wow. Fingers firmly crossed for you my friend.
  12. Also interested to see how these three go today, two I will have a little tinkle on: Bangor On Dee 4.02 ANDY AMO @ 9/2 Navan 4.30 VERDANT PLACE @ 6/1 Navan 5.05 QUORNOFAMONDAY @ 13/2 Some more fun, why not. * 14/1 each way placed best effort today so far.
  13. AINTREE GRAND NATIONAL 2025 Have taken an early look to the big one at Aintree in a couple of weeks time, and though my Grand National portfolio will not be finalised until the actual day it does not hurt to put an early thought out there. Having a while back mentioned INTENSE RAFFLES and STUMPTOWN (before it won at Cheltenham), the interest in that pair has certainly not cooled any less and they may still well figure in my staking plans come the day. Looking at the 67 left in today the one I was also interested in originally was Beauport, but was not sure whether he would be staying down the hurdle route after his defeat in the Long Walk. As so many others this horse can be a bit of a monkey and it is clear sometimes he might not put it all in (the effort). But looking at his overall profile there is a possibility this fella is more suited to staying trips which you could argue are backed up with his previous victories in the Berkshire National, and before that Midlands National. I note trainer comments from Nigel Twiston-Davies (won the race twice before so knows what it takes) have been very positive on the ATR site, and couple that with his generous odds at present are enough for me to stake a small each way wager on the horse today. Those with William Hill accounts may be able to boost the horse up to just over 44/1 (as I have) if they fancy an early tickle on who knows a possible Twiston-Davies hat trick. Advised ante-post: BEAUPORT e/w @ 40/1 (hills/888 sport) (5 places) * Both firms are non runner / no bet on the Grand National.
  14. Morning all. These are my selections for today, with possible further additions depending on monitoring of course ground conditions: Kelso 2.25 HARPER VALLEY e/w @ 20/1 (bet365) 5 places Kelso 2.25 ASHINGTON e/w @ 14/1 (generally) 5 places (small rev. f/cst with Harper Valley) Bangor On Dee 3.27 ESPERTI e/w @ 10/1 (generally) 3 places ** non runner ** * Already advised Newbury 3.15 CRAZIERTHANDAISY e/w @ 11/1 (hills/pp) - now best price 6/1 ** non runner ** Best of luck today all.
  15. Kelso 2.25 HARPER VALLEY @ 22/1 (bet365) Thank you.
