  1. Morning all. Will now jump back in on EDITION ORIGINALE as price gone out rather than come in with Bet365 (BOG) so happy to re-invest at 6/1 (and BOG).
  2. Hello all. Have had a look at the French jumps action for tomorrow on an eight race card at Fontainebleau, and have one selection for those who wish to consider it: (Wednesday 19 February) Fontainebleau 1.12 EDITION ORIGINALE @ 4/1 (bet365) (cheeky SMALL rev. f/cst with Martin Guerre) Tidy class 2 hurdle and this one steps up in class, and also from fences to hurdles on her latest win. Anthony Renard takes the ride and knows the horse well having won it over fences and hurdles. Seems ground versatile and may be hard to beat tomorrow if in the same vein of form as when giving a beating and weight to Kandida Bella on that latest chase win. Martin Guerre is interesting and ran well on only his second hurdle start latest but may find this tougher tomorrow stepping up in trip. Still, that was a good race and if he improves again may be a possible outside danger so will have VERY small single cover on him. * Price on selection may be bigger or smaller on main selection in morning so will either leave or back again at a bigger price. * My French main jumps selections are currently +11 points profit since start of the year.
  3. To be honest with you T.E. I don't really look to closely at the odds myself, but obviously the combination must pay at least 10/1 or I wouldn't even want to consider it as bet worthy. I would say to you all out there that I think Bet365 are normally the best to go with for reverse forecasts in general but that is just my personal preference.
  4. Hi T.E. To be honest with you forecast bets have been tremendous earners for me since I started concentrating on jumps betting, and are something I always look for whenever possible. It was lovely the other day to have a message from one of my followers Tasdik and I would say to anyone who follows me or not if they want an inside line to my thinking on my daily selections when their up, I am happy to tell them exactly what I think with regards to their chances. I have always enjoyed punter to punter interaction whether it on a laptop or in person and can assure you I will normally say it as it is. Sometimes I feel certain bets I put up are strong and sometimes not as strong as they probably should be. But I will always put up something I feel has a chance of WINNING whether it does or not. WW.
  5. No main selection jumps winner but a nigh on 16/1 REVERSE FORECAST landed should soften the blow for anyone who followed. ENJOY THOSE WINNINGS.
  6. Hello all. Two big ITV handicaps this Saturday which I have already taken an early peep at namely the Virgin Bet Eider Handicap Chase at Newcastle, and the Ladbrokes Trophy Handicap Chase at Kempton. Nothing stand out at the moment for me in The Eider but just in case price collapses will get this one onside at an early stage, though it could well lengthen rather than shorten in such a competitive race come Saturday and that is obviously providing it makes the final decs on Thursday. (Saturday 22 February) (Ladbrokes Trophy Handicap Chase) BEACHCOMBER @ 8/1 (generally) Sure Jonjo O'Neill would have had this race in mind for the horse after his course and distance romp albeit in a significantly lower grade affair 57 days ago. Seems on a decent mark for the race but won't want ground worse than good to soft should it be declared on Thursday, so weather will be crucial to it's chance should it be declared. Will put this one out there just in case.
  7. My "flatties for fun" tonight: Wolverhampton 5.30 KALEIDOSCOPE EYES @ 4/1 (generally) Wolverhampton 6.00 BALGOWAN @ 7/1 (will hill) Wolverhampton 8.00 CHARLATAN @ 5/1 (generally) * Seen an ante post possible for the ITV races this weekend which will post up shortly. Very best of luck with your bets today everyone.
  8. A very good morning to all. Squeezed back into the profit column for February yesterday with advised 7/2 winner TANGYNIKA and so on to today. Whether the selection actually does run today will hopefully be an indication from connections that they do not feel the ground is actually TOO soft for it. This is my play today on the jumps with brief comments: Taunton 3.35 SAFE DESTINATION @ 11/2 (will hill) (rev. f/cst with Camulus pays 18/1 and 16/1 approximately) Robinsville is noted as get's a weight pull with the selection today for a 5 length defeat previously but not sure it will be able to reverse the form. Exmoor Forest is another danger that is in the mix, but Camulus has no ground issues and is feared most. Hoping selection WILL handle ground and is progressive enough to keep improving for today's contest. Some flatties for fun to follow.
  9. These are my couple of flatty for fun bets today: Wolverhampton 5.00 Playing 2 x tricasts with 1. PARADOXICAL 2. TEA SEA 3. OVERNIGHT OATS and 1. PARADOXICAL 2. OVERNIGHT OATS 3. TEA SEA. * As you can gather I like Paradoxical who was 6/1 last night and now best price 7/2 so too small for my liking now. Had I been a flat player then would have definitely backed it last night at the bigger price. Wolverhampton 8.00 ROSENPOR @ 5/1 (generally) Best of luck with your bets today all.
  10. Good morning all. Now in chase mode as far as profit for February is concerned so here goes then starting with today. Just the one jumps race I am interested in today so these are my selections with brief summary: Carlisle 2.50 TANGANIYKA @ 7/2 (generally) (rev. f/cst with The Wolf) Carlisle 2.50 THE WOLF @ 13/2 (ladbrokes/unibet) Fortunate Man is a worthy favourite for the race but hoping the six year old can be got at from a handicapping point of view. Same comments relate to Geryville and Raceview Road woud be a big player if fit. Tanganiyka is talented but very quirky so if it put's in a stinker have to cover The Wolf with Sean Bowen (a big plus) on being a big danger. Will post a couple of flat selections for fun seperately.
  11. Apologies all but just occured to me thinking that Epsom Faithful and Arcadian Nights might be fairly closely matched from a handicapping perspective, I had better play this small TRICAST too: 1 RAINTOWN 2 EPSOM FAITHFUL 3 ARCADIAN NIGHTS Just in case eh.
  12. Not much on the flat for me either today at Lingfield, did fancy the old boy Coolagh Magic in the 1.22 but too short for me now at a best price 10/3. So just the one flat play for me today and it will be the Lingfield 3.52 with a few plays for fun Lingfield 3.52 EPSOM FAITHFUL e/w @ 9/1 (generally) 3 places with also Lingfield 3.52 RAINTOWN/ARCADIAN NIGHTS in reverse forecast and RAINTOWN/EPSOM FAITHFUL in reverse forecast and an exotic two tricasts: 1 RAINTOWN 2 ARCADIAN NIGHTS 3 EPSOM FAITHFUL with 1 ARCADIAN NIGHTS 2 RAINTOWN 3 EPSOM FAITHFUL Should be fun to watch, best of luck with your bets today all. * Sorry just to add quickly that do fancy RAINTOWN to win this race but will put up Epsom Faithful just from an each way perspective.
  13. A very good early morning all. Each way placed efforts yesterday at 10/1 and 12/1 were of little consolation as the February jumps column has now slipped into a current loss of 1.5 pts (to one point win stakes), so hoping we can turn that back around before the end of the month. It is frustrating as in the last two days I have actually had a couple of decent jumps winners but unfortunately have not put them up on the PL as did not think they were strong enough. Still, that's the way it is so hey ho on we go. With Punchestown abandoned and Musselburgh looking awful from a betting point of view (only my opinion) I will leave the jumps alone for today as also nothing in Angers, France to recommend either. Will be posting a couple of flat selections a bit later for a small bit of interest today.
  14. The last at Newcastle summed up the way things are going for me at the moment. Rebecca's Girl denying me a reverse forecast and a tricast. Cruel game at times.
  15. Fair play to Samuel Spade, what a performance under top weight to deny my Blue Hop (e/w placed 2nd)! Naughty Samuel and even naughtier Ben Jones (a jockey I do rate)!
