  1. OK, I counter-jinxed it! Great stuff in the end by Smudger!
  2. Pathetic...
  3. Ross Smith 5/19 on the checkout... he NEEDS to improve that.
  4. I know Littler losing damaged Fader's acca, but I still think it's good news for the outrights... MVG can have his off night, Littler is more dangerous in that sense.
  5. Exactly, so weird to see Smith as a sizeable underdog... he has the better form, the H2H edge etc... even in the World Cup, he looked better to my eyes than Anderson (granted, it's easier to play with Humphries compared to the shell of Wright, LOL). I also bet on Smith to beat Anderson at 2,10. I am going to root for MVG, but yeah, Littler probably wins.
  6. I went with Cullen at 2. I didn't like what Dolan played at the World Cup... let's hope Cullen shows up here.
  7. And then a 167... and then a 126... what a match!
  8. 9 darter by VBD too... Ross Smith played excellent, I think, especially so early in the day.
  9. Van Den Bergh to beat Schindler at 2,20. Schindler as such a formidable favorite against VDB seems weird to me. The Belgian loves the stage, even won here before, and (at least against Netherlands, and I think it counts more than the disaster against Austria) showed some form at the World Cup.
  10. LOL, I somehow thought it would be starting tonight but nope... it starts nexs Saturday, the 13th.
  11. I think I will go with the two Smith's (that Rock-Ross Smith first round match is huge, not on the Littler-MVG level, but still...), Chisnall and then Cullen. I remember that one ET event where he made the Finals and played so smoothly (until the Finals)... if he plays like that, he is a danger. (And then he loses three or four first round PC matches in a row, LOL).
  12. Yes, Michael Smith was my very first idea, and his odds look decent indeed! My second idea is actually Chisnall at 41. He seems to have a favorable draw on paper. He doesn't really have the form, but just like Cullen, he is a player to never sleep on.
  13. Absolutely, I also just barely scratched him... he is getting into some kind of form just before the Matchplay.
  14. 150 Clayton, I just knew it... beats Taylor AND Menzies.
  15. I also went with Dom Taylor... he plays DVD in the first round though. Also on Doets, Soutar and Menzies.
  16. Ah, Ross Smith, obviously. I really think this guy should win another major after his EC title... and maybe the longer leg format of the World Matchplay would suit him too.
  17. Pathetic. Losing 7 legs in a row...
  18. Wow. I want a Nothern Ireland/Sweden SF with a Belgium/anyone SF. 😀
  19. Holland-Belgium feels like a semi-final now. Come on, Belgium!
  20. Not with this version of Szaganski.
  21. Maybe even Taiwan too. They were impressive yesterday, and I think the Austrians are weaker than the Irish.
  22. (1) England v France Northern Ireland v Germany (4) Scotland v Poland Czechia v Sweden (2) Wales v Croatia Austria v Chinese Taipei (3) Netherlands v Belgium Italy v Australia Holland vs Belgium, a key match. Northern Ireland with a harsh draw... Those Scotland and Wales quarters are quite favorable for anyone in those.
  23. And then of course, Latvia with a 95 average. Too little, too late for them.
  24. And pathetic performance by the Czechs. And congrats to your France tip (I think they beat Denmark), I overestimated Latvia. That guy with the glasses was useless, lol.
  25. Breaking news: Price OUT, Wales is now Clayton/Jim Williams
