  1. Fun fact: the last two winners went on to win the Worlds.
  2. Yeah, wrong guy for me to win the SF.😐 I am still sour about Rock, missing six match darts against Plaisier the last time... let's hope he delivers the win for you who picked him!
  3. Dobey...
  4. So Scutt is the common denominator, lol. Gl to all.
  5. I missed yesterday's event which if fortunate, because I wouldn't have picked Menzies or Bunting (who by the way has lost 6 finals in a row now). I would have picked Dobey though - who once again choked... one last try with this guy... this is my selection: Dobey 20/1 DVD 25/1 ----- Jim Williams 125/1 Scutt 200/1 O'Connor 200/1 Zonneveld 250/1
  6. It's much worse than if he lost against Cullen in the 1st round... I mean, he is something like #11 in the world, and the three other players are outaide the top30... and he was playing well... I really thought he would win... and then this utter rubbish.
  7. Should have bet the house on Edhouse.😁
  8. Noppert is quietly playing well too... I still believe.
  9. Come on, Noppert! If he wins, I will switch my ring tone to his walk-in music. 😀
  10. Let's hope so!
  11. Woodhouse-Edhouse SF? 😀 Or that would be too much?😀😀😀
  12. I also was on him... this tournament has produced quite a few shocking results.
  13. Great win by Madhouse! 😀
  14. Edhouse to beat Smith at 2,75 Even with that "curse" you mentioned... Smith is not to be trusted these days.
  15. I hope he doesn't.😀 I think DVD beats Gurney, but the price isn't that great.
  16. I agree. And the longer format should favor Wade here, I think he will crack Wattimena. I kind of regret I picked Noppert in the outright market instead of Wade (but eventually it doesn't matter with Humphries in the field, lol).
  17. Frankly, I don't have strong "longshot" leanings this time... I can't get over the dominance Humphries showed in ET 13 last week... and his recent major tournament results are also outstanding... and then Littler and MVG also fired in big 100+ averages last week... add the strange fact that there are no 150/1 standouts this time (bookies are getting smarter? I mean, there are more dominant players now, the two Lukes primarily, and still, players like Ross Smith are around only 30/1...). Two players I kind of like is Wade and Noppert. Both in the "Luke" half though, and especially Wade seems to have a harsh draw... most probably he would need to beat Cross+Dobey+Humphries+Littler to get to the finals... ouch. So Noppert... well, he hits very good averages, he usually goes some rounds... but never wins a tournament... still, I think I'm rolling the dice on Noppert at 50/1 (I don't have sky unfortunately) - and will once again regret it. 😁
  18. By the way... we need good timing in betting too... last year I was on De Decker to win the Worlds (was a huge price obviously), but he was well beaten by Michael Smith if I remember right... now this time around he must be one of the hot ones (if he does not cool off completely in the next weeks), but I guess at a much, much, much reduced price.
  19. Humphries back to world champion form.
  20. But... he is Wattimena.😄😄😄
  21. When he equalized at 4-4, I was so sure he would finally win... yes, quite shocking.
  22. So... who will make the Finals from the upper half?😆
