Frankly, if his opponent weren't Littler, I would try Bunting. He is not THIS bad, his averages are still decent, he should win at some point.

I expect a narrow victory by Humphries. No bet for me.

Menzies is a clown. Unprofessional, to say the least. All the worse that De Decker couldn't beat him even with so many match darts.

For sure, Anderson is not the same player in these Euro Tour events as on the floor. I also like Chisnall to lose against Evans. Something is still off about Chizzy.

Thanks. Pre-tournament, I only went with Ross Smith at 25/1, as he seems to be getting into form, and his quarter looks not that difficult - on paper at least. No Littler. (And no Bunting.)

Yes, it seems to be a pattern. There is no parallel to the 9-darter in other sports, at least I can't think of any. It's such a highly heralded deed - yet it only gives you one leg, that's it. It has very little impact on the outcome, while it is a highly emotional moment... feelingwise it's like winning a tournament - but you are right in the middle of an actual match. Not easy.
