  1. And I think Chizzy has been kind of Humphries's kryptonite this season...
  2. Yes, I think Cullen is a better opponent for him, and now he is after this emphatic come-from-behind win.
  3. I was on a straight Pietreczko win... oh yes, the greediness.
  4. He will.
  5. Huge match, as expected. And congrats Fader!
  6. Dobey is too good... he is playing perfect darts.
  7. I kind of fancy Pikachu's chances in the evening. His odds are huge, 5,50 now... it could turn out to be a possible "banana skin" for Humphries. But we have the big game of the afternoon session now... it should be a treat (and I hope for a Ross Smith win).
  8. They asked MVG yesterday, whom he wanted to play next. His answer: "Give me Bunting!"
  9. I want a Ross Smith-Bunting final!
  10. Sweet. Wright, Noppert, Aspinall all missed the Players Championship Finals - all three went out 0-3. 😮
  11. I went with Evans to win at 3,40. Wright and Noppert went out, and while I think there is a bigger chance Aspinall will show up, his lack of form might still be a concern.
  12. I'll follow you on Beaton... surprisingly, he also won the last 4 matches against Gurney, who seems to be cooling off again after the promising first half of the season.
  13. Tomorrow, at first glance, I would lean towards Veenstra... but now as a favorite, I'm not sure. And maybe Ricky Evans is a live dog? Aspinall's season is so chaotic, but it's the biggest stage, and he usually raises his game in major tournaments like this.
  14. I kind of regret that I bet heavier on Ross Smith... so I will be rooting for him, but so far in this tournament, Dobey has delivered maybe the best performance of all.
  15. And Fader once again nailed a great acca with O'Connor's set, congrats!
  16. Wow, Barnie looked very impressive. Was not expecting that.
  17. Great pick... that top half is full of bad seeds. 😀
  18. I went with a treble of De Graaf/Szaganski/Wattimena all with +1,5 set handicap, at 5,7.
  19. Scott Williams wins the match too. Tomorrow, the Schindler-Wattimena match seems a bit similar to this one... a not too reliable seed against a player who already had a decent performance here. I would gladly oppose De Sousa, but maybe not with De Graaf. Same with Ratajski/Hughes. Dolan and VDB look unbackable to me as well. The strangest odds would be Krcmar now being a heavy favorite against DVD... maybe not so strange in the light of DVD's results, I would leave this match alone, as we don't know which version of DVD turns up. So my strongest lean is Wattimena, +1,5 or a straight win.
  20. Scott Williams +1,5 sets at 1,98.
  21. And another one b... bottled it. These middle-of-the-table players are so unstable with their doubling.
  22. He definitely should NOT, but he just might... on merit of his name and antics, LOL. Yesterday my "short favorites acca" came in, but today, I don't really like the favorites... I just hope Woodhouse and De Decker win (for lottery outright for fun, lol)... Littler is of course a bigger favorite against Gilding now than he was against Kist, no thanks... even the Noppert and Heta matches seem tricky to me. In fact, I'm thinking about backing Scott Williams at the +1,5 handicap at around 2... I don't trust Noppert, and Scott Williams already has a warm-up match nehind him, it could at least be close.
  23. And that's the beauty of that top half... the top2 players of it (ok, Anderson is debatable, but his season averages don't lie) play eachother relatively early...
  24. OK... Peter Wright's only good moment was his entrance, LOL. Jim Williams needs to raise his game though if he wants to win it all. 😁
  25. And I thought 50/1 or 60/1 was too thin... LOL I can't blame the bookies though after this performance. He looked like a very serious contender, for sure.
