Also had word for Mission Command in the first at Nottingham. Was given it at 14s yesterday but missed the price and too short now at 13/2. Apparently there is a split opinion on him from jockeys who have sat on him at home. That alongside the fact I think it would have to be pretty decent to beat the fav Kassaya is enough to dissuade me from backing it now. Kicking myself for missing the 14s but hopefully it's too green and comes last now 🤣

Unfortunately it looked like Tears Of A Clown broke down 😔...it really is a cruel sport sometimes. 
I did have a 3pt win on City Of Troy in the Derby at 7/2 as I just thought the same with Fallen Angel last week that it would bounce back. I obviously won't record the Derby win as it wasn't stated but it was nice to back the winner in both the Oaks & Derby 🙂

I just cannot see why this horse is 28/1 unless the trainer has told everyone it's not trying 🤣. Paying 6 places I'm more than happy to risk 0.5pts e/w to see if the market is just completely wrong as was the case yesterday.

I've just been patiently watching the ground from the side lines ......it went soft which went in favour of the o brien horse in the oaks but has missed the rain so steadily dried to good sft ...bordering good if rain stays away  .......backed the first and 2nd rated in the oaks so that returned a winner and I had been put off ambient friendly because of ground but that's changed now so it's top two again now and I've totally ruled out city of Troy after the o brien debacle so it's  (ambient friendly and ancient )....no point ruining a good formula ...cmon the beauts !
Looking back at the results there's been so many times when the winner has come from top two rated regardless so for the rest of summer that's the rule and cross doubles on all races .(Also done on these races )...I might even carry over a small portion of any winnings to the following weekends top 2 on top of my normal stakes to boost potential winnings until about September when the form starts to lessen ....now til sept have been most profitable historically .....and it's a good way to get involved in these top races without ...over thinking 🤔 it lol
