2.33 Stratford - HIDDEN DEPTHS 6/1 bet365 ( 2 places ) up in trip today after staying on at Mkt Rasen over 1.5f shorter , ground a bit of a worry . 👎 not picked a place horse in first 5 races at Stratford .
 
5.05 Galway - GLAN 10/1 bet365 ( 5 places 2.50 eway free bet ) following on from yesterday's winner in the Plate ASH TREE MEADOW this one ran in this race last year finishing 4th off a mark of 130 , is running off 135 today but good claimer Gilligan takes 7Lb off so in effect 2Lb lower than last year & arrives here off a low weight & on the back of a win .👎 was hammered in in the betting but no show , free bet so nowt lost .

i'd love to see Tudor City win it ted  he's delivered some great wins for me over the years

Good to see Icare Allen highly rated for the Galway hurdle  by Chris as think it should outrun its odds looks a fair e/w shout from the Mullins yard who have 4 of the 16 runners!  i also think dual winner of this Tudor City is overpriced at 16/1 although 11 year old now.

Perfect example of ratings and class working hand in hand ...hopefully will throw up a few more winners in the future .....put the non runner stake on Rhoscolyn so returns 99.12 +79.12 ...that covers recent losses and a nice chunk profit .....onwards and upwards

It didn’t seem too bad yesterday but obviously the rain arrived overnight . Galway got off lightly I think and the going has gone from Yielding to Good/Yielding which favours my selection and the likes of Hewick. Hewick will have to run to 170+ to win this I’d have thought which is an almighty ask.

Super competitive race 22 runners.  This race is usually won by unexposed novice types carrying less than 11 stone but the last two renewals of been won by classy types Hewick last year and Royal Rendezvous the year before carrying big weights . Hewick returns along with some other big names. Hewick scores low on going and his current mark hence why not in the picture for me but he’s a real class act.   I hope conditions don’t get too testing for Easy Game although he has won on soft ground before but wouldn’t want it too bad. Finished second in this race two years ago and 10th last year off a pound higher but was hampered twice which killed momentum near the end. 11,4 isn’t the end of the world because he’s has lots of class about him . 
 
I’ll be brave and go 5 points on the nose 

I noticed his price earlier and thought that’s too big surely
