3.20 Lud Percys Wood £5 win at 5.7 = £23.03 profit if it wins. Wanted to dutch with Takeit Easy but this one's price has drifted slightly and Glory And Fortune slightly shortened. I then needed 3.95 for Takeit Easy but in all honesty if it gets to that price then perhaps Glory and Fortune may prove to be the danger horse. In this circumstance I feel that it is best not to dutch and take a chance on the single bet for the Dan Skelton horse.
Haven't had a chance to look at Plumpton yet. Bard Of Brittany looks interesting in the 4.08 but has had a hefty rise in the weights recently
Takeit Easy is a non runner so I have taken an insurance bet on Glory And Fortune; £3.15 at 2.62 = B/E or 10p. This means that if Percys Word wins I net £12.05. £8.15 staked
Bard Of Brittany too short for me at around 3/1 (was 6/1 last night) so I'll leave it.
4.38 Plum Ballyegan Hero. A small wager of £2.15 at 10.15 = £20.02 net profit if it wins. This looks to be a very open race
Total stakes = £10.30
Good luck to all punting today; I have to tidy up my study as it's a tip

3.10 Hay- ROWLAN WARD 10/1 e/w nicw win lto should be more to come but has a 10lb so small e/w for me. Bog 4places
3.40 Ascot- ON A SESSION 20/1 JACKS POINT 25/1 both Bog 6places- Very tough race but both look to have fairly decent e/w chances.
4.50 Ascot GELLHORN 16/1 5places bog- I think this former French runner may go very well at a very decent price ground suits decent form in France over l mile drops down to 6f for first time be interesting to see not really faniced in the market could be a sleeper in the market deffo worth an e/w play imo.

A couple of the Champion jumps horses from the Mullins yard have been retired ......... Douvan and Faugheen
Two incredible horses at their peaks, winning many grade ones and Festival championship races in Ireland and the UK
Hopefully they'll enjoy their days romping around the fields !

Not much luck today but two winners from multiple single bets, none with max profit. Lost a net amount of £6.40. My new balance is £917.00 (Bank £1,056.22).
Will play a bit differently tomorrow. Will try to take max profit out of the strongest market movers and just do cover bets on others.
Some class racing tomorrow at Ascot and Haydock but this brings with it large fields in some of them. I'm out in the morning so hope I will be back to place some bets for TV racing

I have been trying different systems/ways of picking to try and find some consistency. An eventually I have come to the conclusion you are better off picking them yourself.
Am going back to my old way of betting singles & doubles.

7.30 Nottingham Rains Of Castamere 1/1
5.50 Ripon Twilight Spinner 2/1
