Al Dawodiya 6.30 Windsor E.Way 6/1 Bet365
Al Dawodiya has three second places to her name. Often in front she has out-battled her closest rivals only to get caught by flying finishers. To be honest she probably does not stay 7f so the drop in trip may suit. She was behind likely favourite Broughton’s Gold but she gets a 5lb pull in the weights for being beaten by 3.5 lengths. Trainer Richard Hannon is the top trainer at the course with 34 winners in the last three years.

Not exactly researched this great and wasn’t going to bother but the 3.30 at MR piqued my interest anyway going with the Boola Bee taking on the odds on fav and Net Love. Not sure but the extra distance over and above the stated distance (rails moved) and the weather forecast means I would want one that stays the distance on the going (my assessment at off time) and enough doubt about Black Anthem over that criteria and Net Love brought down and going I Think is enough of a negative. So 1pt win Only 6 runners other wise would be each way. Currently 7/1 with b365

Thanks mate, appreciated, thought i'd blew it with a week to go.
Lucky i made De Bruyne captain on the last day, i knew he needed 1 assist to equal the record so was bound to play.
Gary was running the Fantasy thread but it fizzled out after the lockdown I think.
I'm usually crap at these things.
Just for the record:

1550 R - Bollihope @ 20-1 - £1 ew
1625 W - Good Earth @ 15-2 - £2 win
1725 R - Bollin Margaret @ 16-1 - £1 ew
1900 W - Qaarry @ 28-1 - £1 ew
22 x 50p EW Yankee and 50p ew on Time To Study @ 100-1 (1845 Galway) All races extra places
No luck on the yankee, but a drifting winner Bollin Margaret @ 22-1 returns £28.40 for a small £8.40 profit. It was a shame as i liked the winner of the 1900 at Windsor, but when i put the bet on it was second fav at about 5-1 and Bollihope finally got a decent start but didn't finish as quick as usual. Good Earth seemed to run on the wrong side and finished 5th....i know pots and pans!!!

This really isn't the right place to congratulate @BillyHills on his Fantasy Premier League victory, but i can't seem to find the post (or thready thingy) to say congrats. I have to say i really enjoyed it, it being my first time ever doing anything like it. But what a finish...having led for almost all the comp, to lose the lead with weeks to go and then snatch it back on the final day to win by a point!!! Not sure how many racing punters were in it but i was having my own tussle with @PercyP (not that he knew) so well done to him as well getting a top 5 finish.
Anyway Well Done Graham on your victory ?

Morning Everyone
It has taken me 4 weeks to even come and visit the site, as many of you know and many do not, I have known Paul some 30 years and in that time got to know a man who was selective about the people he chose to be in his life, he loved his punters lounge guys and girls and the numerous poker nights and race days he took great joy and pride in to know he created that, I was more a friend away from this site because truth be told gambling is not my thing as @StevieDay1983 will tell you with my horrendous premier league tips, I am actually very proud of what Paul achieved here and have told him that several times, you all should be proud to because you have help this great creation, on a more personal note I will miss my friend no no my brother, i loved the way he would tell it to me straight if I was being a d**k, also loved the way I could tell him that also, I have spent many a night in the pub (that will surprise you all watching mostly football and for a Leeds lad he backed me up whenever I was watching Manchester United in mainly Arsenal pubs in London, away from pubs we would often discuss matters of life always with a sarcastic sense of humour attached to it, I was with Paul a lot over the last months and I would like you all to know that genuinely he did not lose that sarcastic sense of humour he was known for, one of lifes very very good guys, I love ya Paul

Bit of chatter yesterday in the General Racing Chat thread about the old Fineform System and how it might be teaked to negate the obvious difficulties with it
Basically the system involves awarding points based on last two form figures, C, D and CD wins, The glaring omissions being that it takes no account of Class or Going
So I've loked at todays handicaps at York and Ascot and noted races with a clear top rated horse (no joint tops) and then looked to see if they should act on the going and have either won in todays Class or placed in a higher class
These are the selections .......(prices bet365)
Ascot
1.20 - Seen The Lyte 5/1
4.15 - Tiger Crsade 13/8
4.50 - Strait of Hormuz 9/2
York
2.10 - Right Action 14/1
3.55 - Mister Lambreys 3/1
4.30 - Global Spirit 13/2
Let's see how they get on !
One problem I encounted was my Class twaek because I feel you should include lightly raced horses that have won in the class below but might be on the upgrade. Might have to re-formulate this
The consideration about Going is a bit subjective because you're using judgement as to whether the horse should act on it if the evidence is sparse but there we go. It's obviously not ideal to have subjective criteria in a system ........
If the above produces some winners I might stick with this for a few days, maybe with tweaks !

Thanks, must admit I've hit the post a few times over the last few days so it is nice to have a decent winner. The last 10 had all placed with 1 winner at cramped odds due to a R4.
Yes I do still back each way, the basic premise of this system is to take advantage of the extra place that the bookies offer.
I do have a number of systems that I use, this is one that I have been using for 3 years and in that time it has generated 120 points profit at LSP.
The system I had been using earlier (with the shorter odds) hit a bit of a poor patch so it's on the back burner at the moment although it has perked up a bit over the last few weeks so I may return to it at some stage.
