Week 9 Picks
1. New England Patriots to win ATS -3.5 points @ Evens
The Patriots have a 2-6 record but these losses have been against above average teams (Dolphins (twice), Eagles, Saints and Cowboys). Washington has recently sold their best two players and their young QB has been sacked 40 times already this season. The Patriots defence will feast.
2. Browns to win ATS -8.0 points @ 10/11
The tough Browns team are at home in the cold against a poor Arizona Cardinals team. The Cardinals have one of the worst defences in the NFL.
3. Los Vegas Raiders to win ATS -1.5 points @ 10/11
Week 7 results I wrote:
“The Raiders have some quality players including Davante Adams, Maxx Crosby, Jacobi Meyers, Roberts Spillane and Chandler Jones. If they play to their best they can make the playoffs. Raiders had an extremely poor performance. They are not playing for this manager”.
They have now sacked their manager and I am expecting these quality players to be fully motivated.
4. Saints to win ATS -8.5 points @ 10/11
The Saints won for us last week, so I will roll with them again at home against the Bears.
5. Tampa Bay Bucs to win 5/4 Moneyline
The Bucs have lost their last three games however these were against the Bills, Falcons and Lions, so no disgrace there. The Texans started the season well thanks to great plays by rookie QB P.J.Stroud. However, with film now available teams are beginning to work him out.

Back to form this week with 4 winners and a push/draw ATS resulting in a nice profit.

1. Vikings to win ATS -1.5 points @ 10/11- Vikings win by 14 (24-10). WON
Kirk Cousins (Vikings QB) or Jordan Love (Green Bay)? Give me Kirk Cousins every time. Kirk Cousins secured victory but is now out for the season.
2. Jets to win ATS -3.0 points @ 1/1Jets win in overtime by 3 (13-10). DRAW
The Giants have played better recently, however the highly rated Jets defence will control this game. The Chiefs are the only team to score more than 21 points on the Jets this season. Jets defence played well only conceding 10, offence poor scoring 13.
3. Jags to win ATS -2.5 points @ 20/23 Jags win by 10 (20-10). WON
The Steelers are hard to beat. However, the Jags have now won four in a row, which includes a victory over the Bills in London. Trevor Lawrence is playing well. Jags are going well.
4. Saints to win ATS -1.0 points @ 10/11 Saints win by 11 (38-27). WON
The Colts have committed four turnovers in back-to-back weeks. The Saints defence is tough.
5. Panthers to win (Moneyline) @ 6/4 – Panthers first win of the season 15-13. WON
Teams do not lose all their games. The panthers are 0-6 having played above-average teams recently (Miami, Detroit, Minnesota, and Seattle) at home to the Texans should be easier. Texans were easier.

After two profitable weeks, week 7 was disastrous. Only the Browns ad Packers came remotely close to beating the spread.

1. Bills to win ATS -8.5 points @ 10/11 – Bills lose to New England (29-25) - LOST
The Bills have a great record against the New England Patriots winning 8 of the last 9 games. It is 8 from 10 now.
2. Packers to win ATS -1.0 points @ 10/11 – Packers lose 17-19 - LOST
Last week the Bronco’s defence managed to keep the Chiefs to just 19 points. This week the Packers only scored 17.
3. Chargers to win ATS +5.5 points @ 10/11 – Chargers lose by 14 (17-31) - LOST
Whilst, I think the Chiefs will win they usually do not blow out teams. They did this week.
4. Browns to win ATS -2.5 points @ 10/11 – Browns win but only by one (39-38) - LOST
The Browns defence is superb however, Colts QB Gardner Minshew found a way.
5. Raiders to win ATS -3.0 points @ 10/11 – Raiders lose to the Bears 30-12 - LOST
