I haven't been posting much as I have been working on something and 'fine tuning'. It all seems logical and I have been backing the selections with hard cash since the beginning of October so still early days. They come in 2 categories but you don't need to know that, all I can say is that both have been profitable, with one giving slightly better prices but both have a similar strike rate. They provide bets most days but not always everyday (which is what I was looking for). ALL BETS are WIN only bets.
Method A - October 19 wins from 42 bets. A profit of +15.63pts.  Method B - October 20 wins from 45 bets. A profit of +62.33pts   ** B.O.G. ** results but still profitable at S.P. All profits at 1pt level stakes.... I have though now implemented a staking plan (slight increases) so that should increase returns. 
Losing run = 6   Winning run = 3 ( x 3 times )

Tiger Beetle was running from 11lbs lower than it had won from within the last year so was 'well in'. In effect the market responded and the Fav beat the 2nd Fav.

It's an interesting thread, and I can see both points of view. 
It's not for me though as has been pointed out already, the 'value' lies with the bookmaker (ask anyone high up the bookmaker food chain). Just like buying a lottery ticket (although with factors/influences that can help solve the equation), it is the dream of the big win that draws people in. No doubt, being selective about which races have some candidates rated clear of the rest will improve strike rate and potential returns. Not something I would get deeply involved with, good luck to those who do.

We've got duplicate threads for today's racing and I've just moved the others from here into the correct one. For some reason it won't let me move the opening post so we're stuck with two threads! Threads merged now. Another new skill acquired! 

The point is that we can not see it is working. 
It is only working if you can show that it is making a profit.
