The Quiet Man Posted November 8, 2010 Author Share Posted November 8, 2010 Re: TQM's 50 x $4.40 180 MTT's on Stars (SOLD OUT) A quick update for my stakers.....4 games to go, hopefully get them out of the way on Tuesday and Wednesday!:hope Apologies for taking so long to play them but I'm finding it difficult to find the 4 hours required to fit them in.....for example I could play just now but have to go out at 8pm for an hour so therefore I wouldn't be able to continue if I went deep!:( I also know that 50 games is far too many for me to do again in a future staking.....20 x $11 games may be a better idea but that'll be next year at the earliest. (21 losses in a row:$) The standard of play on these tables is extremely fishy as you'd expect at this buy-in but you can certainly get yourself into trouble if you attempt to play too smart by checking / betting low in an attempt to trap them and I was guilty of that on many occasions.....the advice is to bet hard with a hand and you'll probably get paid off....the trouble was I was betting trying to keep them in the hand because most of the time I was well ahead....will I ever learn?:( In the end I'm pleased that we made a profit but found that 50 games was too many for me when I was trying to restrict myself to a maximum of 2 tables - I've nothing but admiration for Gazza attempting to do this for the second time. :notworthy Any future staking requests certainly won't be for 50 games.....if there is another one?:unsure Right, time for a beer :cheers thanks again!:ok (Washy - get yourself back on the Forum:ok) TQM Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Don't give staking up because of the extra pressure, I think if you cope with the pressure the right way it can make you extra concentrated and disciplined when you are playing....
