Arabe Unido The team will like to claim revenge from last edition elimination, and has been good in home as in their lone match in this edition beat Toronto FC 1-0, but on away the team lost 2-1 to Real Salt Lake. In local tournament the team is on the second position due to goal average, with 14 points. Still on last two matches on away the team haven't been able to won and have a defeat and a draw. Cruz Azul The team lost the final of this tournament last edition and now will like to claim it. Won in the weekend to Atlas on away and is the best team of their local league right now with 4 consecutive victories. Match Arabe Unido will have to put a fierce stand to obtain something from their Stadium, the quality of Cruz Azul overpass that of other visiting teams to Arabe Unido. Expect a very fought match on the middle field. Prediction Cruz Azul with the direction of "Chaco" Gimenez and Javier Orozco should obtain a good away result that push them near of securing qualification to next stage and encounter with ease their remaining matches. In all competitions 8 matches without defeat, with 5 draws in that stretch, the team has showed good improvement in the defense as in last 5 matches has just allowed 1 goal from Necaxa in their last encounter. GK Talavera has showed a great leadership to get this defense going and is the base of the team. Last away match in CONCACAF Champions League, draw 0-0 against FAS, match the team dominate but was unable to score the winning goal. The in home defeated 4-0 Olimpia. Coach De la Torre knows that qualification passes in home field and will send an offensive display as last match of CONCACAF Champions League. Due to an important fixture on the weekend the team will save some players from this match, but despite this, the team will be competitive as always. Recently the club has had a very good work with youth players and they have consolidate on the first team, like FW Raul Nava, FW Carlos Esquivel, MF Isaac Brizuela, MF Nestor Calderon, DF Francisco Gamboa and MF Antonio Rios, which normally take a place in the starting XI.
