Let's see if Semin will bring any changes to young Dynamo squad. Shakhtar no changes...yet... Dnipro is very unsuccessful with their winter transfers.they are trying to get some good players from La Liga and Bundes but without results. Metalurg expect many fans for this match so both teams decided to play at Olimpiyskiy as it has bigger capacity. Metalurg Donetsk having very disappointing season and currently are 10th. Metalurgs manager said that his team is still after European spot. Metalurg had big changes during winter break and brought some new players like Bandura, Fernandesh, Mario Dzurovsky, Golaido, Moraes, Fanendo Adi . Metalurgs manager said he won’t announce his starting eleven as he want’s to surprise Dynamo. This is first game after winter break for Metalurg while Dynamo already played 2 in Europa league. Metalurgs tactic is unknown at the moment we shell wait and watch them for few games to make a decision. I’m sure manager will give chance to all new players to find out who suits his style best. They still rely on their youth players too and some of them could even take a part in League matches. Vorskla are happy to stay where they are-middle table. They are just an average and unpredictable side and don’t really have high ambitions like rest of the clubs. Manager Pavlov says new signings are even better then players they sold. Vorskla had some good friendly games, lost to Shakhtar 3-2 but gave them good fight. Now they face Metalist and I don’t think it will be easy game for them but they will play without pressure. Players are in a good mood and I’m sure they won’t give up so easy. Last 2 matches in Europa league become a nightmare for Metalist.they made some big transfers this winter involving names like Kristaldo from Valez, Blanco.but something just doesn’t work there.And I don’t think they have problems with players-they have great squad but I’m just not sure if their manager Markevich is good enough to lead his team to CL spot. After 2 big defeats in Europa Metalist lost friendly game to club from Russia second division 2-0. Players morale must be very low now, they didn’t win for a few matches now and couldn’t even beat team from Ukraine first league. Blanco picked and injury during training and he is doubtful for this match. Nobody in Ukraine believes that Metalist could be a threat for Shakhatr and Dynamo. Bookies made Metalist favorites here and they will probably win this match but I just don’t see how players with a low morale can win it big. Half of the Illichivets team consists of ex Shakhtar players and fore sure will give even more than they have got in this game. Illichivets is a very poor team and in normal circumstances they can`t touch Shakhtar and the stats show it – 0-1-9 in last ten games. But the circumstances are far from normal with Shakhtar playing the biggest game in history in a couple of days. I would say that there are some indications of this being a surprice game today: a lot of Shakhtar players played their national team games, Eduardo and Chygrynskyy injured and a couple of players will be rested, 12 point lead in the league with little games to go and ofcourse the Barca game in the CL. Also both of them are missing key strikers: Agahova,Alozie are out for Sevastopol and Antonov is out for Illichevets. Zorya will play in Donetsk again as their stadium failed M.O.T :lol And what do we know about Donetsk?Yes,this is Metalurgs home so basicly Metalurg is playing at home.Zorya will still miss their captain.Metalurg is comming after 2 defeats and i just don't see them losing again.Clash of the "titans" blya.Game for nothing really.
