TennisExpert
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Sport Tennis Event P. Santonja - Kanepi Selection P. Santonja Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price 10bet @ 3.61 (Back) Reasoning Next bet on the underdog in this tournament. Santonja is better in WTA rank than Kanepi, in past beat Kanepi on this surface. Santonja is claycouter, feel very good on this surface and make really nice results in this year. Santonja serve work very good on clay. Kanepi propably is tired after Wimbledon.. Kanepi feel better on fast surface, on clay not make big results.. Kanepi not hava great footwork, I see problems tomorrow against Santonja. For me wrong favorite! Sport Tennis Event Duque Marino - Amanmuradova Selection Duque Marino Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price 5Dimes @ 2.50 (Back) Reasoning I go with underdog in this game. Amanmuradova is talest players in WTA tour, not have footwork for clay surface.. Big serve not working on clay, because clay is the slowest surface and Amanmuradova not taking many free points. Duque Marino is young Columbian claycouter, in this year won one WTA tournament on clay. In my opinion can beat Amanmuradova on clay. Duque Marino move good on the court and have very dangerous return. This is 50/50 match. Value in Duque Marino.
Psycho
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Event Karolina Sprem vs Maria-Elena Camerin Selection Karolina Sprem -4 (Asian Handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price 188bet @ 1.98 (Back) Reasoning Camerin is in very poor form for a very long time and it remains to be seen how much she will be able to do against player like Sprem. The Croatian's comeback to tour has been very impressive and I can see her blowing Camerin off the court. -4 games is a formality in current circumstances. Psycho
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Event Lilia Osterloh vs Aravane Rezai Selection Under 18 Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price 5Dimes @ 1.74 (Back) Reasoning Difference in class is obvious. Osterloh is an old player who plays mainly on challenger tour and won't be good enough to last two good sets against devastating Rezai who looks to be in good form here both physically and mentally. This match will be very one-sided with Rezai hammering her opponent.
Psycho
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Event Akgul Amanmuradova vs Mariana Duque-Marino Selection Akgul Amanmuradova Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price William Hill @ 1.62 (Back) Reasoning Marino is struggling for form big time. She has been destroyed in her last 5 matches without winning a set. Things are not gonna be any easier when she comes up against Amanmuradova who will be benefiting from better serve and more confidence as well. Amanmuradova clearly to win for me. Event Johanna Larsson vs Renata Voracova Selection Johanna Larsson -3.5 (Asian Handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Expekt @ 1.90 (Back) Reasoning Larsson is a very good prospect for Swedish tennis. She is young and very powerful girl and has had some strong results lately. Today she will be playing in home tournament and will have all the support she needs. That is always very important. Voracova has not had a decent result for ages and I think she will be well beaten today. Event Tatiana Malek vs Anastasia Rodionova Selection Over 20.5 Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Gamebookers @ 1.85 (Back) Reasoning This has over written all over it. Despite the fact that Malek is not in her best form at the moment and plays mainly on lesser tournaments this is her chance to get some ranking points in WTA level which doesn't come too often for her. Rodionova of course is a better player. This match is most likely to go to 3 sets as Rodionova is just too inconsistent to win in straight sets. She has had 4 three setters in hers last 5 matches and her only meeting with Malek ended in 3 sets so everything looks good for yet another over here. Psycho
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Event Greta Arn vs Darya Kustova Selection Greta Arn -4.5 (Asian Handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Expekt @ 1.85 (Back) Reasoning Greta Arn is in terrific form lately. She has got a tour semifinal on clay on her books this season getting to last 4 in Warsaw. She has been to Wimbledon 3rd round after qualies and looks like a decent bet today, even more so knowing the fact that she will be playing in her home tournament. H2H is 1-0 in favor of Arn with the Hungarian winning 6-2, 6-3 in Warsaw last year.
Psycho
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Event Bjorn Phau vs Dustin Brown Selection Bjorn Phau Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price VCBet @ 2.37 (Back) Reasoning Typical 50/50 match though I feel Phau has got slightly better chance of winning. Simple reason here is that Brown has made absolutely silly choice to go to clay Challenger in Germany after Wimbledon and lost in the first round. No idea why he needed to change the surface and now he's back on grass in Newport. Phau has hit some balls on hard in Winnetka Challenger. This match will be very close and OVER is another good option though I believe that Phau is just a little bit better prepared for this one and will come out on top. TennisExpert
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Sport Tennis Event Rochus - RogerVasselin Selection Rochus -1.5(Set HC) (Asian Handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 05/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price William Hill @ 2.20 (Back) Reasoning Oli Rochus for me take win in two sets in this match. Oli feel really good on grass courts, in last year in this tournament go to SemiFinal and lose against winner Ram. In this year lose after 3 close sets against big server Chiudinelli and after 5 long sets lose in Wimbledon against numer two on the world Djokovic, this is perfect time to take first win in this year on grass. Vasselin is typicall claycouter from Argentina, not make good results on grass. In Halle lose in Q 2-0 against Ledovskikh, at Wimbledon lose in second round Q against young Tomic 2-0. For me Oli 2-0 without too many problems!

TennisExpert
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Sport Tennis Event Olaru - Medina Garrigues Selection Olaru Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 3.94 (Back) Reasoning I see chances for young Romanian talent in this match :) Ioana have skills to be great claycouter - won junior Roland Garros in 05. In last year go to Final in Bad Gastein.. Olaru in last year in Budapest lose in second round, have points to defend. Olaru have many good shots like changed rotation or very good drop shots. Medina Garringues in last three yearse after Roland Garros not playing on clay.. In this year changed calendar, why? I don't know, but motivation not must be on high level in this match. Go Olaru! TennisExpert
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Sport Tennis Event Groenefeld - Arvidsson Selection Groenefeld Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 2.83 (Back) Reasoning I go with underdog in this match.. Anna Lena back to tennis after injury, before this have very good position in WTA rank and make really nice results on clay surface. Propably is 100% fit in double destroy 6-1, 6-0 yesterday. Arvidsson play at home - this is only one advantage for this player in this match.. Arvdisson is not better than 100% fit Groenefeld, worse serve, worse results in past on clay. I see nice value in this odds!
TennisExpert
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Sport Tennis Event Kudla - Ventura Selection Kudla Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Expekt @ 2.80 (Back) Reasoning I don't understand bookies in this moment, why Ventura is favorite? Ventura is claycouter, feel very bad on fast courts like grass. In this year won two matches, but against two bad players on grass - Prodon and Cipolla - both out of TOP250. In last year in Newport lose in first round. Kudla is one of the biggest talent in USA, paly with WC in this tournament. In last weekend go to QF in juniors Wimbledon.. For me Kudla can take win in this match!
TennisExpert
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Sport Tennis Event Russel - Fish Selection Russel Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 4.90 (Back) Reasoning Perfect odds, I must take it. Fish in last time off course is in good form on grass, but the best time on the court left for this player. Fish propably not taking 100% serious Newport tournament - in last two years against worse players than Russel. Why not in this year? Russel is good Fish friend, in past beat Fish 6-0, 6-2 when Mardy play in Atlanta without motivation. Russel have skills to make suprise. 4.90? Why not? Huge value. Dabul on grass playing only in Wimbledons, but not make good results. Last time spend in USA and make really nice preparation on Winnetka hard courts, take title! Form is good. Ball like Dabul not making good results in past on grass courts, rank is worse, form is worse. Ball have serve on Dabul level, I don't see any advantage in this match for Australian player. Chances in this match are close, I go with nice underdog!
Psycho
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Event Anastasia Yakimova vs Anastasia Sevastova Selection Anastasia Sevastova -4.5 (Asian Handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price 188bet @ 1.82 (Back) Reasoning This will be the 2nd meeting between these two. The first one was 3 years ago in Istanbul also on clay. Sevastova lost just 4 games in that match. Back then it was Sevastova's first ever match in WTA main draw. She has picked up lots of experience since then and should be able to get convincing win today as well despite the fact that her results haven't been that good lately. Yakimova has not been winning either so purely based on difference in class Sevastova should be able to come out on top here. Event Jill Craybas vs Rosana De Los Rios Selection Jill Craybas +3.5 (Asian Handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.88 (Back) Reasoning This is definitely THE match of the day in Bastad. Two old women still trying to prove smth on the tennis court, especially Craybas. No idea why De Los Rios is such a favorite here, there's no reason to be this way. Craybas has beaten her both times they played on clay, besides doing it in straight sets. The only time she lost was on hard surface and that was in 3 sets. Craybas has covered this handicap in all 3 of their meetings and nothing suggests it won't happen again today. Event Gisela Dulko vs Ellen Allgurin Selection Ellen Allgurin +7 (Asian Handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.79 (Back) Reasoning Never been fan of such a big handicaps. Of course Allgurin is in totally different class comparing to Dulko but still she can hit come balls and should be to do something in her home tournament. She got to the 2nd round here last year and got 5 games out of Carla Suarez Navarro who is a very good player on the surface. Dulko has been rubbish lately so you never know. Like I said this handicap is a bit too big for me. Besides the only match Dulko has won in her last 9 outings was in French Open against injured Azarenka... Psycho
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Event Barbora Zahlavova Strycova vs Zuzana Kucova Selection Barbora Zahlavova Strycova -3.5 (Asian Handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price 188bet @ 1.82 (Back) Reasoning Strycova is a clear favorite in this one and I can not understand why there are such an short handicap on her win. Clearly this is a mistake by bookies and we should take advantage of it. Good luck! Event Ana Vrljic vs Angelique Kerber Selection Over 18 Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.83 (Back) Reasoning Kerber has become huge favorite after couple decent results. This is wrong for me and she should never be rated to win in under 18 games, not even against player like Ana Vrljic. Statistics show us that they have played twice before. last year on clay there were 3 sets and before that Ana Vrljic beat Kerber 7-5, 7-6. Clear over here without any arguments. Event Iveta Benesova vs Alize Cornet Selection Over 21.5 Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Expekt @ 1.96 (Back) Reasoning Despite the fact that total games line is very big I still take it. These two have played couple times before and there were 3 sets on both occasions with the last one coming earlier this year in Fes. Both girls are out of form and the best way to go about this type of matches is to take over.
Psycho
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Event Alexandra Dulgheru vs Sandra Zahlavova Selection Sandra Zahlavova +6 (Asian Handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 06/07/2010 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.99 (Back) Reasoning This is ridiculous. Now on earth Dulgheru should be this overrated. 6 games handicap is ridiculous. Ok, Dulgheru is obviously clear favorite to win this match but give some credit to Zahlavova. She has had some very strong performances lately and though clay is not her best surface she should be ok to avoid crushing. The only time these two played it was 6-4 6-4 to Dulgheru. It was on clay last year so basically Zahlavova can do it. Like I said 6 games is a bit too much here.

Meusburger has not won a match against decent opponent in ages and I have no idea how on earth she can be rated as such a huge favorite. Don't know great deal about Pochabova but judging by results she should be good for a decent performance. Besides she has get very easily and comfortably past qualies and has beaten Meusburger in their only meeting which was on clay last year. I wonder how much interest there will be in this match for Safarova. She was still back in Wimbledon couple days ago watching her boyfriend Berdych being mauled by Rafa Nadal. I'm sure she has had no preparation for this match whatsoever. I believe that class should be able to carry her through though it won't be easy. 5.5 games on Woerle looks pretty good to me. She looked very good but was not good enough against classier opponent like Aga Radwanska. Sloane Stephens is young American talent who loves playing on clay but here's what is my problem. She was back in London still on Sunday playing juniors doubles @ Wimbledon. Surely she will be out of sorts and not prepared for this match. Brianti should be able to take an advantage of the situation and have comfortable win.

HoRSoVsKi is right, there's no real way of telling which tips have a higher confidence. If you're backing things all the time with your maximum stake, well, it's probably a direct route to the poorhouse. Psycho, this isn't a dig at you, because it seems a lot of posters do it. Psycho
Re: Tennis - 5-11 July Brian Dabul +3.5 (Asian Handicap) vs Carsten Ball. 1.85 @ Expekt (7u) Never been fan of Carsten Ball. The guy has no brains but gets away with it only because he has got huge serve and a bit of play at the net other than that he's totally hopeless. Dabul has just won a Challenger and comes into this tournament full of confidence and certainly is well capable of having a crack at Ball. The Aussie has an advantage of having massive serve and it will be hard to break him but on the other hand I can't see him having much of a return play either. So in worst case scenario I can imagine Dabul getting a tie-break or two and therefore being able to cover this handicap. Santiago Giraldo -2.5 (Asian Handicap) vs Alexander Peya. 1.83 @ Pinnacle (10u) Gift offer here. Have no idea why on earth bookies think Peya has got a chance in this match. The Austrian has done nothing special for ages and playing against young and powerful opponent will be a nightmare scenario for a first round match here. Giraldo has got two comfortable wins against Peya on clay which is supposed to suit more the Austrian. Grass courts will be an advantage for Giraldo who possesses very good serve and basically will be just too good for Peya. -2.5 games sure thing to happen. Ok, Rus is young, gifted player - I know about this, but have big experience on the court? Make many third rounds in good tournaments? No! In first round play against poor Siegemund, won in two sets, but serve not look good.. Concended 4 serve games. Vrljic is older than Rus and feel very good on the Bastad courts - won Q - concended only one set and in first round beat 47 player on the world Kerber! This is really good result. Vrljic show very agressive return, I waiting for this against Rus. I go with very nice value!
