Re: Mexican Primera 1-3/5 Pachuca Achieve their qualification in the last round of the tournament, with an away victory against Tigres UANL, 1-2. A result that saves the season after coach Rivalora was heavily questioned during the season and that the team almost don't achieve qualification for playoffs. The team was the 5th best offensive with 27 goals, divided almost equally in the first and second halves of the matches. It was on defense where the team didn't showed a good performance being the 12th of the tournament with 26 goals allowed in 17 matches an average of 1. 53 goals in every match. On home the team suffered heavy and allowed many defeats there, ended with a record of 4 victories, 1 draw and 4 defeats, which came against important teams as Chivas, Pumas, Santos (all of them in playoffs) and Atlas (that didn't qualify). On midweek the team played in home and win CONCACAF Champiosn League title thanks to a last minute goal, with which they tie the overall score 2-2, but the away goal of the fist leg allowed them to claim the title, and the ticket for FIFA Clubs World Cup in Abu Dabi, that will be their 3rd participation in 4 editions of the competition. The team is force to make some changes in the lineup as the team carries 5 weeks playing two matches every week. Is expected rest for MF Damian Manso, and FW Edgar Benitez. MF Jaime Correa returns to the starting lineup, also FW Ulises Mendivil could be on it. Pachuca needs to win the series as the draw in the overall score will not benefit them as they enter the playoffs in the worst position (8th), this will force them to be more offensive than normally and the defense could suffer from this. National team call-up: DF Paul Aguilar Monterrey The current Champion has 15 matches without defeat (9 victories and 6 draws), was the leader of the regular season, with a record of 10 vi victories, 6 draws and just 1 defeat. Monterrey is the best attack with 30 goals in 17 matches, a little less of 2 goals per match, remarks that 76% of those goals fall in the second part of the matches. This reveals that the team explodes on the second half where the other team hasn't the same energy that in the first half. On defense is the 3rd best defense, with 15 goals allowed in 17 matches, less than 1 goal per match allowed. Here also showed that allowed the 66% of the goals in the second half as the team goes more offensive their defense suffers. On away the team haven't been as strong as in home, but have a fair record with just 1 defeat (in round 1, back in January) in 8 matches, but just 2 victories, with 5 draws. Still the team didn't take onto strong home teams, just Toluca (where they draw). Coach Victor Manuel Vucetich has made their team strong despite departures of important players as FW Humberto Suazo and injury of FW Aldo deNigris, with a dynamic playing style the team knows when to attack and when to relay on their defensive side. Monterrey faces a good position as they can laid back and counterattack as Pachuca needs to win the series to proceed, meanwhile Monterrey with a draw in the overall score will proceed. Monterrey attackers (Sergio Santana and Dario Carreño) will not hesitate to score as Cruz Azul FW's did on midweek. Injured: FW Aldo de Nigris Match Pachuca will have to go offensive and take advantage of playing in home, meanwhile Monterrey will be laid back and look to take advantage of Pachuca open spaces on the defense during counterattacks. Prediction Monterrey is the strongest team of the league, meanwhile Pachuca was rather regular and suffer a lot to get into playoffs. Pachuca is forced to attack and Monterrey will find in their best position which is to counterattack, in that order Monterrey should take a good result as their defense is strong and their attack is very powerful. Pachuca many weeks of continue playing will affect them. Monterrey 0 [email protected] at Pinnacle 8/10 [email protected] Pinnacle at 3/10 [email protected] at Bet365 1/10

Re: Mexican Primera 1-3/5 Pachuca 1-0 Monterrey - Loss -12 u In the final play of the match Monterrey was very near of scoring the equalizer that will have been great, but was unable to do so, and Pachuca win this match. Monterrey GK Jonathan Orozco was huge to denied Pachuca a higher advantage for the second leg.
