General Haigh
Good morning one and all, I will be posting tips given out by Britain's most hilarious "professional punter" on Saturday morning. Remember this man is so useless they lose despite what's in the formbook. :gimme
General Haigh
Re: King After's Equine Ankleweights Just a taster about how bad these tips are. He gave out three horses only in the last fortnight from the stable where he is their "formbook expert". The first two were described as a likely "across the card double" and the third ran at Lingfield on Monday and had a "great chance". Yes you guessed all three never sighted and all unplaced. Now if he is so hopeless on his own nags think what he is like on other people's horses. This man is the man the Braveheart bookies send Xmas cards too. You will find out on Saturday why there is only one King After. It's so much fun that there are even horses being named King After & general Haigh. Yes you've guessed it they're both useless. :beer

General Haigh
Re: King After's Equine Ankleweights Dave Nevison was christened as "King After" on the BF Forum many moons ago because of his outrageous "pro punters diary" in the Racing & Football Outlook. This allied to his hysterical tipping on ATR gave rise to his title as the King of Aftertiming. Week after week the punting bretheren were left addled as he came out with multiple EW selections which magically involved the winner after the race. "Yes I was miffed that my selection the favourite was touched off by my EW bet in that photo". If this didn't upset us losers enough when watching ATR we then read in the RFO that although he had backed loser after loser all week in his diary he consistently claimed to "get out in the last" with a massive long odds gamble. Punters were left asking how he could back 3 horses EW at less than 3/1! and make a living as he claimed but he did. Those of us in the real world found this particularily irritating. To cap it all one winter day he summarised a Dunstall Park card by informing us that both he and the "AW Expert" Mr Mapletoft had "had it right off" on one of Mr Suntan's selling platers. Nice of them to let us know AFTERWARDS! It's all done in the best possible taste and part of puntings rich tapestry now. Mr Nevison sportingly named one of his horses "King After" after himself. He was also game enough to call another one "General Haigh" after his premier mickey taker. All in all a slight distraction in the holy quest to beat each other on the exchanges battlefield. Two quid y mano! :gimme General Haigh
