When are these races run?

Hi, Please can someone tell me the start and finish dates when these types of races are run? Handicaps Handicap Hurdles Handicap Chase Maiden Stakes Maiden Hurdels If they are run all year is there a peak time? Thank you Michael

Re: When are these races run? Wow, what a question! Where do you start? Ok, first you need to know that we have two disciplines in Horse Racing, Flat and National Hunt. Handicaps and Maiden races are run on the flat and Handicap Chases, Hurdles and Maiden hurdles are run over jumps. They pretty much run all year round now just on different surfaces, the flat turf season is April/November, the AW the takes over for the winter. The NH season is all year round but after May 1st the summer jumping keeps the game going with a lot less days racing until around October when the jumps get busy again.
