BillyHills
Just a thought on this weeks Euro Tour Golf at the KClub in Ireland. Plays very much like a Links Course so past form is a help. My three against the field at decent prices are; N.Fasth 100/1 (skybet) D.Fichardt 80/1 (skybet) A.Hansen 50/1 (BlSq) Fasth has the disapointment of failing to qualify for the Open yesterday but is beginning to show some of his old form and has played well here in the past, 100/1 is way too big and represents value. Fichardt continues to play the tour very well and if he could cut out the odd 'horror hole' he would go close, putting well, makes loads of birdies and has course form. again 80/1 is good value. A.Hansen, very capable of a low 60's round and if could be abit more consistent over the 4 rounds he will be winning on the tour very soon. Also has played well around here. 72 hole match bets to get interested in are; Bjorn to bt Poulter 10/11 (sp.odds) Poulter was looking off the pace last week and hasnt played this couse very well in the past. Bjorn's coming back into form and would be no surprise to see him go close. Monty to bt Rose Evens (sp.odds) We must take on Justin Rose whoever he plays, he has missed the cut the last 3 yrs and failed to make the Open in yesterdays qualifying, he seems out of sorts just now and its our good luck that Monty is the opponent, not far off his best, played well at suunningdale yesterday so will be in great heart. Gallacher to bt McGinlay 1.95 (betfair) Been searching for a match to take on Mcginlay who plays this course badly. possibly trying too hard to win in his native land. Only Betfair have prices up and the opponent is Stephen Gallacher. He's not playing too bad so worth a chance, probrably will only have to make the cut to win. The obvious contenders i know are Clarke, Harrington, Goosen but too short to get involved with. Anybody else having a bet?
