chris34 Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 2.10 sandown I notebooked strawberrydaiquiri after some effortless performances in listed events, still running in a listed event here today and has won round here before looks a group horse in the making! 3pt win strawberrydaiquiri 3.50 sandown olynard comes here in great form and is only raised 4lb for a good looking 1/2 length victory but has a 7lb claimer jockey on board today which might be useful in his success for a hatrick and making the class upgrade. Ground no problem loves the fast ground. 0.5pt e/w olynard 8/1 paddypower bog Also like jimmy ryan in this race, was withdrawn at ascot 2 weeks ago, has been off for over 4 years and fitness is to prove but is well treated on old form having run on listed events and also winning a handicap off this mark. 0.25pt e/w jimmy ryan 25/1 bet365 bog 4.25 sandown Rocket rob won in good style under detorri before unlucky last time out when the gaps just didnt come at the right time but when they did he ran on extremely strongly, gets to run off the same mark today. 1pt win rocket rob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Beat a few that oppose again today over course and distance last month (Australia Day and Greylami) and then went on to win at Ascot over the distance. Beat William Blake that day who then finished ahead of a few that oppose today NTO at Glorious Goodwood (Australia Day and Lang Shining). Previously won a maiden at Windsor which has had other winners come from it so that form is ok. Typically the Godolphin horses tend to improve with runs so happy to be on their side today especially as they do well at this track. 3.15 FANJURA (7/1 Bet365) This horse went into my notebook when i saw it earlier in the season, now seems to have found its form with 2 nice wins at Sandown & ascot. On a hat trick today & a C/D winner. Will go close & Frankie is 2/3 on this one. Up 3lb for latest win which doesnt look enough to stop the horse against a field where not much else stands out. 3.50 CANADIAN DANEHILL (7/1 Bet365) its lasty 3 runs here on this stiff 5f read 1-2-1. 9lb higher today off 94 which may just stop the horse however it does like th track & is drawn well. Ran on through beaten horses at Windsor earlier this month - did not prove too much there, but every chance Sir Mark Prescott will have this gelding primed to go well today. And trainer has a 33% strike rate over the past two weeks. 3:50 Sandown: Macdillon 3pts win 10/1 Ladbrokes (Bog) Macdillon has only had four lifetime starts, but one was a course and distance win here. Ran well off 88 at Newmarket in May before disappointing at York in June. Presumably well thought of for that race as Frankie Dettori took over in the saddle. Liam Keniry back in the plate. Has decent form but purely based on the amazing form of Hughie Morrison. His last 10 runners (ie, since Wed) have yielded 6 winners, 2 2nds & 2 4th's.
