Sandown 12/8/2009

Re: Sandown 12/8/2009 7.10 Sandown Peking Prince is still improving and although he has been raised 6 lbs for a second to Sri Putra last time out, that run came in a heritage handicap and may thus be warranted. The form of his recent runs is working out well, especially that of his Ayr third with the winner Firebet looking useful and the second, Tiger Reins, winning twice since. He was only beaten by half a length at Ascot when last seen, that run rates as a career best, and he is evidently a horse on the upgrade. 11/4 Bet 365. 8.15 Sandown Devil to Pay looked all over the winner when cruising upsides Curacao at Sandown last time out but ended up getting locked in a tussle to the line and failed to shrug off Amanda Perrett's rival. Jockey Durcan had barely given the colt a slap in sending him to the front though and although raised 3 lbs, looks to be improving and may be able to turn the tables tonight. 9/2 Bet 365.

Re: Sandown 12/8/2009 7.45 I'm expecting Sequillo to take this but dont like backing such short priced horses. So instead i'm going for the outsider of the field in Princability. Back in April and May he ran in two 1m2f grade 4's on the firmer ground. This was off a rating off 76, and he finished 3rd and 6th respectively only going down by a relatively short distance in both. After being tried at an extra furlong he's back down to the preferred trip and off a 5lb lower mark which could see him go close at a big price.

Re: Sandown 12/8/2009 8.15 Backing 2 in this race, Sherman McCoy and Supernoverre. Firstly, Sherman McCoy has had a great year so far winning twice and placing 3 times out of 5 starts. Lto was stepped up an extra furlong to 1m5f and won pretty comfortably, is stepped up an extra furlong today which suit on ground that he's proven on. Is up 4lb from that win which could be within this horses capabilities after a 2 length victory lto. Supernoverre is at a big price with some firms at 33/1. Started this year on the turf well with a win at 1m4f on the firmer ground. Next 2 starts may not of suited, with 1 being on the softer ground and one being dropped down in trip. Is stepped up in trip today as well as being off a 2lb lower mark which could change this horses fortunes. At this price is well worth a e/w bet imo.
