It's just another world! Flights went great...although bloody boring...Singapore Airways really are fantastic, serving drinks as required and meals every few hours...always with a smile. Taxi from Airport to hotel in Manila was a bloody nightmare! There seems to be no traffic laws and they just dodge in and out and cut each other up...very scary! Dusit Thanet hotel is great...all the staff greet you at every opportunity...hands together as if in prayer! It makes you feel very humble to be treat like this. Registered for the Main event...playing in DAY 1 B which is Friday (I think...if today is Wednesday! :unsure). Lowest priced games available are $100 SNG throughout the day...having a go at one this afternoon...won't be able to play many at that cost...unless I take them to the cleaners that is. Took a solo walkabout yesterday in the City and it was a real eye-opener. Taxis slow down and beep at you ...''You want a nice lady???''...FFS! Then this morning approached by two, barely 18 by the looks of them...but been told if you just ignore them they don't push! It's just another world!
