Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct FERRERO @ 1.8 Will Hill. Ferrero looks pretty solid here. He’s been decent in his two tournaments on his comeback and I expect a solid run from him here. This match up happened at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Wimbledon, Querrey played an awesome first set before Ferrero took control. Querrey has struggled in recent events and I’m not expecting much from him here.

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct Hanescu 1.61 Victor showed good game in Madrid and is now yhe guy in form. He's got a good serve and it's hard to hit winners against him. Korolev is a baseliner who plays bad a the net and I haven't seen him long time. There a few guys like him, whom I don't understand, I didn't seen Korolev in challengers for a few months. Blake 1.61 I think Shanghai Masters will motivate Blake to give all his best to win tomorrow. Kiefer is becoming slower and slower, so Blake's winners should make the difference here. H2H is 3-1 for Blake, I remember Blake last lose from Kiefer, it was just one of the days when nothing goes well for you. Hope it won't be so tomorrow.

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct baghdatis v granollers match to be played on tue ,most probably, coz marcos just travelled today at basel, but i have to check later according to my early search, this one looks as spaniards 22 years old grannollers victory why? ours marcos is a kinda sphinx, he doesnt speak at all, and according to my experience, when this guy is silent, means that he is not satisfied however, he said few days ago, that he feels very good, and that whole week was practising but not in full strength i wait market to open, and then i will back granollers, but in no way if price is less than 1.90 see you tomorrow guys :ok take care

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct Kunitsyn 1.61 Russian was impresionant aginst Safin and Santoro at Kremlin cup and now had grown another player. As we see Igor likes playing at home. Schuettler excepting Wimbledon had a average season, losing 1 round matches almost everywhere. Kunistyn is very good in rallies, even Safin told after match "I'm not disappointed with my game, I didn't make many unfforced errors, simply Igor was better". Fish 1.28 is alos a good pick, Calleri is 90 % a claycourt player and nothing more. ;)

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct Melzer @1.88 best pick of the day based on my personal view, after watching both players recently melzer in us open against murray, he really scared murray with his game andreev in madrid masters just a week ago, plus in us open against federer my idea about andreev never changes; he is one sided player, a forehanded one, while his backhand is almost useless here i go with the austrian, whom i rate by the way, more more adjusted in indoors than russian good luck :ok

Agree with you here, Jurgen is more gifted and self-confident player. Andreev disappoints last time he's a baseliner and you vary the game a little bit, it's esay to beat him.

Don't worry I understood everything. What about Gulbis this guy is again unlucky, he''ll have play against Murray, if he beats Garcia-Lopez and Murray passes the guy - Troicki who deploys an unorthodox serve-and-volley game to great effect and counts Andy Roddick and Novak Djokovic amongst the scalps which he claimed over the past year. Clement is sure, but I wouldn't bet on Stepanek in your place.

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct Nice start to the week with Ferrero getting a solid win. Looking for some big dogs to bark tomorrow WOOF WOOF:loon:loon:loon LAPENTTI @ 5.00 Skybet. I don't know....this just seems worth a shot. Karlovic was good in Madrid last week but before that he really looked to be struggling. Maybe being at altitude helped hisserve and coming back down he'll struggle again? He dropped serve a few times against Simon who just got a lot of balls back, and Lapentti is capable of doing similar. He hasn't shown much form recently, but I like him and he's worth a shot at this price. GICQUEL @ 4.00 Ladbrokes. This looks a big price, especially between 2 Frenchman indoors in France! I'm sure I've said that before! Last year Tsonga reached the semis here and lost comfortably to Grosjean which was quite unexpected. He didn't look fit last week against Granollers but just about got through then lost out to Fed. Gicquel hasn't put many results together lately, but has a good record here reaching the final in the past 2 years. He can be very good indoors and this one could be a lot tougher for Tsonga than the odds suggest. GABASHVILI @ 3.5 Will Hill. I backed Gabashvili at a big price first round of Moscow and he did the business, and I'm willing to do the same here. Slight concern he lost poorly to Zverev the round after but back at a big price he's worth a go. He's really had to fight through qualifying to get here and whilst there is a concern he's be a bit tired after 3 tough matches, he should be pumped to get in the tournament and playing at home can perform. He's playing well at the moment and is a real confidence player. So is Verdasco, but his form seems to be dropping after the strong run of results he had a few months ago. He's lost comfortably to Kohlschreiber and Cilic in the past two weeks, and whilst Gabashvili isn't as good as those guys, he can bring a big game and this price looks reasonable. STARACE @ 4.03 Pinnacle. Does anybody trust Tipsarevic at short odds? I know I certainly don't. He just always seems to make a meal of matches you'd expect him to win easily, and recent form hasn't done anything to change my opinion. Starace hasn't shown great form recently, but he's reached the quarters in this event in the past 2 years and I think he's worth a bet at this price.

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct ATP lyon I bet robredo to win and he won 2-0 in sets, but the game is apparently being investigated. Has anyone got paid on Robredo - Llodra game yet? Does anyone have experience of bookies investigations? How long do they take?

Bravo, good prediction. I bet as you on Starace, the italian is a good tennisist, Tipsarevic is so inconsistent especially in matches, where he's favourite. Fish 1.83 I like Mardy last time. Although he lost in Madrid to Gasquet it was a close match, where luck decided the outcome. Lopez had a good run in Madrid, but I'm not impressed by his game, esecially by his ugly backhand. Good serve and negative energy from disappointng season will turn into a win I think. Fish will be the attacker I'm sure, Feliciano will play second throught this game.

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct Frustarating day ending up in profit but 1-3 and after Lapentti's win I expected more. Gabashvili was a set up, Starace was broken right at the start then was pretty level after that, and Gicquel had 3 breaks points to go a break up in the 3rd set:wall:wall

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct STAKHOVSKY @ 4.00 Stan James. This looks pretty good against a very inconsistant Safin. He reached then final in Moscow but that included a walkover, a tough match against Okum and losing a set 6-0 to Benneteau which is awful. Then he went and lost to Kunitsyn in the final which I was really shocked by. Yes, he beat Davydenko but that's one match it would be very easy for him to get up for, and I'm not jumping on the bandwagon. He won this tournament in 2000 and 2001 but interestingly hasn't played this event since 2004, which is pretty strange with it being in Russia so maybe he won't be as up for it as he was in Moscow. Stakovsky showed in Zagreb earlier this year that he can play indoors and could pull off the shock. He hasn't won too many matches recently but had a nice run in challengers over the summer, and I think he's capable of getting the win here. ZVEREV @ 3.00 Paddy Power. Fancy opposing Youzhny again as I did in Moscow, he's just not winning many matches recently. He beat Pastor easily in the first round but the Spaniard can put in some shockers so not reading much into that. Zverev can bring a good game and has been playing well recently. He was playing excellent stuff in Moscow before having to pull out with an illness, and looks to be recovered here. He has come through qualifying here well, and beat Serra comfortably in the first round. Looks to be a bit of value here. VLIEGEN @ 2.30 Boylesports. Really interesting price here, all seems to be based on one very good tournament from Petzschner. He was excellent in Vienna, but I'm not that convinced by him and it could be tough or him to back it up. Vliegen is a guy I really liked a few years ago, especially on quick surfaces, but he's had injury problems and has dropped down the rankings. In the past few months he's been doing really well, winning 3 challengers and came through qualifying here comfortably. He's the better all-round player and with a bit of confidence he could start making an impact at ATP level again.

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct baghdatis v granollers i decided to skip this one, baghdatis doesnt speak lately, but he is practising like hell at full strength in last 5-6 days, he looks in perfect physical condition, and i am sure that in a hidden corner of his mind, is to meet federer at quarters and beat him inside his house, i very well know how is he thinking of cource, there is a crucial and very important first step, granollers, where he must overcome the lacking of matches-he didnt play since wimbledon- as i said i was going to back granollers, but i changed mind because of baghdatis exellent condition, and secondly, because i dont know anything about the spaniard, i never watched him playing, in tennis as a one person sport, i think is essential to know something about a player you back or you lay...therefore, NO BET for me, just i will watch it for my pleasure cheers :ok

What do You think about playing Penetta today?? Looking at her form lately odds around 1.4 are quite generous. Is she able to win comfortably against Bammer?? Any opinion??
Pennetta is playing Szavay:unsure. That's a match I'm not sure about...I'm waiting for Szavay to start playing well again but it doesn't seem to be happening! Pennetta had a pretty tough week last week and might not be up for it that much thsi week.

Vliegen got a nice win but Stakhovsky wasn't close at all. Not sure why I thought Zverev was today' date=' it's tomorrow![/quote'] We need to say Safin may be unpredictable player, but Sergey Stakhovsky will never become a good player. Nice win from Andreev 1.83, in 3 hard sets ( I've forgaotten to post my bets morning ), and now I'm waiting for Simon 1.25, to return lost money from Stakhovsky. Hard-working Granollers looks to beat Baghdatis, so AM you should have trust your instict. Who doesn't now I want to remind you can watch this week events from bwin or bet365 , my favourite bets sites as well.

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct Gilles Simon again shows great character. Excellent stuff from him to turn around this match. :clap. My bets today: Gulbis 3.00 This guy was o close to beat Rafa. I believe he can make the hit today. Murray I don't think will be 100 % motivated, he''ll stay at baseline trying to use Ernests mistakes, but ie Latvian serve will be good, he has every chane walking with win. I remember their last meeting in Queens, it should be won by Gulbis, but Murrat played better crucial points. Murray is in blistering form after his title run in Madrid last week, but may avoid over-exerting himself on account of the two upcoming major tournaments: the Paris Masters and Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai. Ernests also had the advantage of a one-day rest after his speedy victory against Garcia-Lopez. Granollers 2.10 I liked how played yesterday Granollers, he's a tenacious guy who won't give up so easy against Simone Bolelli, whom I do not like too much. If you're asking me who's better Baghdatis or Bolelli, I'll tell you Marcos is better, so there should be no unsolved problems for Granollers this match. Alos I'll bet on Simon 1.36, and you know why :tongue2

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct oh my god i am so sorry but how can you write a pick about granollers? the guy is pure rubbish, yesterday at 3-3 in the first set baghdatis was already out of breath and several times had to ask granollers to wait a second or two before serving, and it took granollers 3 sets to beat a baghdatis which made non stop unforced errors, granollers is a clay player not a hard player, i advice people to read the tennis section on bettingadvice.com about granollers - bolelli where there are more details, for me its full stakes (and i mean full) on bolelli

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct Granollers @2.6 v Bolelli @1.55 well, thanks to british eurosport, finally i know who granollers is i watched him yesterday against baghdatis match is not criteria for his potential, since marcos was obviously somewhere else but not in court; he is still affected by his back injury, and all the time was thinking " to retire, or not to retire" however, granollers showed rock solid defence, and very reliable game ( only 9 unforced errors in three sets) he likes to play the counter attacking system succesfully i like him bolelli is different style, he is more attacking minded fifty fifty match i rate this one and odds for granollers are fabulus my pick is :Granollers @2.68 betfair good luck :ok

i m sorry mate, but seems that we understand tennis in different ways definitely i trust my self here, and nobody else you have to ajjust your view though, in modern tennis there isnt any thing like 'clay courter' all players are all around, granollers was very near to beat "hard courter" tsonga last week fifty fifty game, bolelli may win, but not because of your estimations

Re: ATP Basel/Lyon/St Petersburg & WTA Linz/Luxembourg 20th - 26th Oct Sorry very limited time. I'll look into the later matches later..... VLIEGEN @ 5.6 Boylesports. Vliegen definately has a shot here, and this price is worth a go. He's back in good form, and indoors is dangerous. He got a nice win for me over Petzschner yesterday and I'm willing to follow him here. Nalbandian has shown some better form of late, but I still don't trust him in smaller events at very short prices. H2H is 1-0 to Vliegen in 2004 as a qualifier and at a big price like this! GRANOLLERS @ 2.72 Betfair. These two guys are fairly close in the ranking, neither would really favour indoors and I have to think these prices should be closer together. Granollers was decent last week coming through qualifying, beating Mathieu and very close to beating Tsonga. He got a win over a clearly not 100% Baghdatis in the first round but still looks to be playing with a bit of confidence. I'm a fan of Bolelli but I don't think he's playing that well. I saw the Berdych match and Berdych was really poor when it was tight and he really gifted Bolelli the win. I just don't see that much to make him this much of a fav.
