325 Market Rasen: Thistle EW With the top weight only rated 104 there is not much quality on show here and many are out of form lately too so i'm taking a chance on Thistle on a track he has ran well at before. His best form is in sellers but most of these are only a gnats above that class and always runs his race. When he was here last time he just got shuffled back at the wrong time and then ran on again, hopefully he can stay handy this time.

On debut showed definite ability to win what was a fair field at san. and that was a pretty decent effort on debut. Indeed on the back of that was a warm order for a listed event at the royal meet., as it happened that run is best forgot as he missed the start and could never recover in a slowly run race. interestingly has been put in a handicap today knowing very much that it could destroy any realistic handicaps in teh future with such a move. Also up two extra furlongs today which should suit and looks a very interesting runner today.
