Fluence
Re: Virgin Fest @ Loose Cannon well done MD. I managed to scrape into the 2nd day but was the lowest chipstack but 1, with only 13,200. (blinds 1,000/2,000 + antes) I was totally card dead all day. AQ once and 55, 66 were the only monster winning hands I had all day! I had 10,10 once in the BB and folded them to multiple re-raise shoves. (AA was shown) Day 2, Shoved 1st hand with KQs and picked up the blinds (MD was BB) next hand I played I shoved with the monster which is 3,3 only to run straight into QQ (the fox, AWOP). Even though the turn made me up & down for a str8 no miracle river was forthcoming. out 41st. I did well to last as long as I did as I only won 2 showdowns in the entire tournament. Virgin did a great job as usual and it was a fun event though the venue and the organisation (lack of) let it down. If LC was as close to me as the other casino's I play at I don't think I'd ever go there. Nice friendly people running the club, but they don't know how to run a tournament. I drew the seat right in the far corner and it was so dark I couldn't see my hole cards when cupping my hands over them. I had to ask for some light and they managed to find a standard lamp to plug in the wall by our table. The quality of the cards they were using was absolutely shocking. I must have had 12 different decks used on tables I played at throughout day 1. They hadn't got a clue when it came to breaking tables or just basic things like keeping the clock, number of runners left up to date etc.

I was in seat 4 and when they put that lamp in the corner i still couldnt see from the light reflecting off the crap cards (4th deck :loon) they put out. This was my 3rd Virgin Festival and must admit probably the worst one, through poor organisation and just about everything else. I arrived just before it opened to find Joe Legge on the hoover :lol as there cleaning staff hadnt turned up. Kitchen staff failed to arrive on time as well delaying everyone for a much needed fry up, just a coulpe of examples of bad organisation of Loose Cannon, no fault to the Virgin team though.
