is saturday a bad day to bet?

Re: is saturday a bad day to bet? I thinks its just a simple fact that the most competative races are run at the weekend therefore most of the races are harder to win, more runners, a lot of big handicaps that many have a chance etc.. You only have to look at the Scoop6 races on Saturdays, usually 6 very tricky events and how many times does it get won? Some would argue that they like betting on weekends because they prefer the higher class races rather than the Class 5/6 stuff we get Monday - Thursday, many people just bet in Listed, Conditions and Group Races as these are more predictable in the main, not may rags win these type of races. Their argument would be that because of the poor quality of animal on show in the week there is more chance of an upset. Its not rocket science, some days a lot of fav's win and others they dont, my only advice would to be selective in the races you choose in the first place, many people try and bet in every race on the TV just because its on C4 or something, just so happens they are usually the hardest races to predict, not surprising that many of these races are sponsored by the bookies is it, or is that being harsh? Good luck, BH
