Reasoning	I think this is a good price on Midtjylland to go through, They showed when they played at Man City that they were no mugs, Took the game 1-0 and that is a big advantage going into the second leg. If City weren't English then there is no way that you would get this 10/11 on FC Midtjylland to go through. City have a massive task tonight.

Re: UEFA Cup - 28.08.2008 Deportivo was the clear favourite before the first leg, and they dominated the game throughout, but could not create any clear chances and the game ended a draw. Spanish La Liga hasn’t started yet, and that could be the reason for the under par performance. Depor still has a very strong squad, and they will look to make things right in the second leg. Hajduk had some problems before the game in La Coruna, as they lost their league game 3:0, and the atmosphere in the team was not the greatest. Hajduk’s form is not very consistent, but they managed to play a good game at the Riazor, and earned a draw against more illustrious opponent. They will probably employ the same defensive strategy, despite playing at home, and according to last reports from Split, the stadium will be sold out. Deportivo will be a lot fitter in this game, as they should be ready for the start of the season in Spain. The visitors have very good squad of players, and they just need some time to start playing as expected. AW for 7/10 stakes.

Re: UEFA Cup - 28.08.2008 Lotina will rest 3 or 4 players for match against Real Madrid on Sunday. Hajduk will play in same formation like in La Coruna but more offenisvely. IMO Value is on Asian HW. 2008-08-28 Hajduk (0) - Deportivo (0) Deportivo failed to impress in 1st leg, they didn't create single good chance. Since then they've raised their form wining local mini tournament Teresa Herrera (2:1 against Atletico Madrid in finals) but according to latest news they still have problems with goal scoring. Deportivo cannot count on important right back Manuel Pablo, his replacement Antonio Barragan, and important midfielder Lafita (didn't play in first leg). Experienced Manuel Pablo had problems with 16 y/o Tičinović in first leg and he won't play in Split. Barragan is his first replacement but since he's also injured, young Laure will play on that position which could easily be weakest spot of Deportivo. I reckon Depor will have much problems with Hajduk's left part of the team, Tičinović and Gabrić. I don't expect them to rush for the goal, they'll wait and play on counters with defensive 5-4-1 formation (they played in same formation in La Coruna). Hajduk has pretty much good chances to go through to 1st round of UEFA Cup. They showed very good performance in La Coruna despite losing 3:0 in domestic league just three days before. After that they lost to Rijeka 3:1 and then they got back on track with 3:1 win against Slaven after being down 1:0. What concerns the most is that Hajduk recieves early & cheap goals like against Varteks in 1st and against Slaven in 4th minute. If they improve on that, or even more, show defensive performance in La Coruna, they can eliminate Deportivo. Moreover Primera starts on sunday and Depor will probably have their minds on match against Real Madrid that is being played on Riazor stadium. Coach Vučević will probably field same first eleven like in La Coruna with exception of right back Rubil who will miss the game due to yellow cards. That isn't a big blow since he will be replaced with Marijan Buljat, player of same or even better quality. Stadium is almost sold out and that brings about 32 000 fans. After years of dissapointments in Euro cups, they have a chance to do one step more towards 1st round and I think Hajduk can do it. Re: UEFA Cup - 28.08.2008 Aston Villa is in a good form despite the loss to Stoke, and they continue to score with ease. They have shown in Iceland that there will be no surprises, and now manager O’Neill can afford to rest some players and still win the game against weak team from Iceland. Hafnarfjordur is focused on league campaign as they are aware that they stand no chances of qualifying. They will try to concede as little as possible, but I believe that there still will be lots of goals. Over 3,5 goals for me, with 4/10 stake.

Re: UEFA Cup - 28.08.2008 FCM vs Man City FCM are a good footballing side, as they showed in the 1st leg, however think Man City were short of match fitness in that game, and since then have improved drastically, thumping West Ham 3-0 at home on Sunday will boost confidence, and put them in the right frame of mind, Midtjylland may try to sit back and defend their 1-0 advantage, seen it before so many times in 2 legged' European games, when the away team wins the 1st leg. Midtjylland's preparation for this game were not ideal either, going down 3-1 in their last league game to FC Copenhagen. Man City WIN @ 1.92

Re: UEFA Cup - 28.08.2008 My main bet for today is Omonia Nicosia - AEK Athens 1X Omonia already won in Greece which was quite a surprise. All teams from Cyprus are way stronger at home and not reliable away so the task in the second leg looks much easier for Omonia. They will be happy with a win or a draw and they cannot afford to lose so I can't see them underestimate AEK. AEK obviously disappointed in the first leg and the team is not in its best form. Rivaldo is now gone from AEK and will play for some team in Uzbekistan, I believe. Two experienced players Basinas and Kyrgiakos joined AEK but they will need time to blend with the rest of the team. If the Greeks lost at home, I can't see why they are favourites to win away in Cyprus at odds around evens. Huge value on the home team not to lose. Full stakes - 10/10 for me.

Reasoning	The difference in quality in these two teams is obvious. Hertha Berlin are doing well in the German season so far (1-1-0 in league, and doing well in other matches as well). NK Ljubljana on the other hand have lost their 5 last matches, and are rock bottom in the league without a win.

Re: UEFA Cup - 28.08.2008 Kalmar and AA Gent has a very good chance to go way Over 2,5 goals - the best attacking team in Sweden will certainly go forward after a good result away. The sale of Cesar Santin to FCK doesn't seem to reduce their striking abilities. I can't underestimate the Belgium team either, with their league rated higher than the Swedish. Simply can't see a slow defensive game from these two, 2-1 in the first leg is great result to expect an open game. Odds for HW are close to those of Over 2,5 goals, so I will take it. A HW for Crvena Zvezda and Rennes, odds are short, but no matter how good defensively Stabaek and Apoel are, there is a class difference... Good luck

I don't follow the Eircom League close enough to have a qualified opinion on this. From the odds and the form (think they've hardly lost any matches last few months) odds given for St. Pats look great. However, read on eleven-a-side.com that St. Pats will miss both centre backs through suspension
