ubermonkey1
Re: WTF? I fold here turns out bad but I got to surely?? yeah good fold just turned out unlucky. would be almost certain one of them had me beat,as it turned out both did. with very few outs and a decent amount of chips left ,no point putting your tourney on the line. stall3y
Re: WTF? I fold here turns out bad but I got to surely?? personally i think i would of gone for it seeing the flop yes i know its risky and prob foolish but thats maybe why i still have alot to learn about the game i have been playing for 2 years . obviously pp,s but i would be thinking mmm AK AQ good flush draw but would still go for it. perhaps thats why i will never win much i aint sure but thats how i play
Valiant23
Re: WTF? I fold here turns out bad but I got to surely?? i dont see the issue here' date=' good fold.[/quote'] The issue isn't here, but the next time he is in this situation and remembers this hand and plays it wrongly because of the outcome here. Sometimes it isn't enough to believe you made the right play (regardless of the outcome), sometimes you just need your belief re-enforcing. Valiant23
Re: WTF? I fold here turns out bad but I got to surely?? hmmm.... I think it depends on the read of the players. Against a LAG, I probably would every day of the week, but against a tighter player I'd like to think I'd be dumping.
ubermonkey1
Re: WTF? I fold here turns out bad but I got to surely?? against a big raise then reraise (by 2 big stacks)you have to expect to be behind here:ok maybe one is drawing ,but you have to doubt that both are ,or that your gonna get outdrawn even if they aren't. pat is almost certainly gonna call with any hand, especially if you do;) with 2 outs to improve a hand thats almost certainly behind ,then i'm out every time. Against a LAG' date=' I probably would every day of the week, but against a tighter player I'd like to think I'd be dumping.[/quote'] this hand is against 2 players though so its a completely different situation, I cant ever find anything other than a fold here and i dont think there is an issue. It just seemed like the original poster was annoyed that he folded what would have been the best hand eventually when it was clearly the right decision, just wierd to me. pupkevicius
Re: WTF? I fold here turns out bad but I got to surely?? for me it is a definite fold, only stick that amount of chips in if you are very confident you have the best hand, in this position you cannt be so you must FOLD, good disciplined folds can keep you in longer than usual
