Uttoxeter ~ Sat 3rd

Recommended Posts

330 Uttoxeter : Tagula Blue EW Decent prize on offer and plenty turned up for it, been through the form book and can only see a handful in with a realistic chance and should be fought out by those near the top of the weights. Tagula Blue may look disappointing on the face of it but the run at Cheltenham and one or two before that are quite decent, was a bit high in the weights but now starting to drop a touch, interesting that AP rides aswell, he finished a neck behind the selection in the Cheltenham race and would have had a few to choose from you would think. The trip was too far at Aintree last time so willing to forgive that run and cant see him finishing out the frame here. 405 Uttoxeter : Too Forward EW This looks a match made in heaven, a horse with a high cruising speed that likes to be delivered late and the in form Timmy Murphy. The horse is 12 now but has always been a good traveller in his races and has run well in much better races than this and has now dropped 10lbs in his last 6 runs so finally he looks well in at the weights. The trip looks the only problem, has stayed away from 3m most of his career so is a concern but has ran well over it too so will take a chance at the price. 255 Uttoxeter : Lay the front 2 in the market; Brendar & Colourful Life Interesting seller this, I think the front two are vulnerable for a few reasons and are worth taking on. What with you might ask in such a poor race? We have two horses that drop to this level that have been disappointing lately but could just bounce back here in Vicario and Smart Boy Prince and my idea of the value in the race is Papillion De Iena, ran well over the course behind Reelinga a couple of runs back, that would be good enough, has Coleman back in the saddle too.

Re: Uttoxeter ~ Sat 3rd Horse: Orion d'Oudairies (FR) Course: UTTOXETER Time: 1.50

The form of his last race is working out well with 3 of the first 4 home have winning since. This one is sandwiched in between them and had previously fallen when going well previously
