2.45 - there was quite bit of hype surrounding Kay Es Jay prior to her race at Kempton LTO when she went off second favourite but disappointed finishing last. Was that a one off and can she recapture her form back on turf? She aquitted herself respectably in a couple of group races last season yet contests a class 3 race here. Makaaseb heads the market at 7/4 but Kas Es Jay was infront of Jarvis' horse when they met at Newmarket last October. With Kay Es Jay priced at 8’s (Bet 365) I'll take a small, speculative punt in the hope that last run on the AW can be ignored.

3.55 - Soapy Danger (11/8 Bet 365) - kept on gamely when scoring at Doncaster recently and is a CD winner. Has won in group company before and showed at Doncaster that he handles a bit of cut too.

4.30 - Fat Boy (15/8 Bet 365 BOG) - returned from a break of almost a year when a neck second to stimulation at newmarket LTO. Frankie rides again today looking to add a second listed win to its name.

5.05 Bankable (13/8 Bet 365 BOG) - CD winner who bids for the hat-trick today after wins at Ascot and Newcastle last year. Frankie on board again so has to be respected.

I've done 6 x 1 pt doubles from these four.

Re: Ascot 30/4/08 2-10 - Baycat Bit early for getting involved in 2YO races but I like this one. I was watching the Newbury maiden it won and although it was a 33/1 shot I thought it 'looked' the best one in the paddock, it looked fit and well muscled up. A type that can win a few early season before the better ones come out. The horse it beat into second that day, Skid Solo, is favourite today, but I don't see any reason it should reverse placings.
