He was 1 card away from being out LOADS of times tonight, including when I tried to rob with A3o, he shoved in the BB with 88, and I called, as already pot-committed (my usual excuse). Chuffed to see an Ace on the flop, but he made a bigger flush on the river. He beat 88 himself with A7 on a 96J9J board and caught more cards than he had a right to do. This is the same raggy herbert who sucked out on me earlier in the month with some monster slices of luck. Still, :hope for tomorrow strider, and the British and Spanish spitfires will hover around our German friend, trying to pick him off, if possible. :hope to all the others trying to get in to or climb the "extra money" table.
