215 Bangor : Mister Gloss Backed this one last time and was impressed by how he battled on when hampered, this distance should suit the horse and although there are many in opposition once youve sifted out the rubbish its a race that wont take much winning. Anything around 4/1 will be good value.

Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Saturday 29th 7.30 Wolverhampton 12 runners expecting to line up for this Class 6 handicap over 6f. Likely fav is the Shaw trained Grand Palace but I'm opposing that one with his other runner, so the EW bet is: Lord Of The Reins (10/1 VCBet) - Stables 2nd string on jockey bookings but I fully expect this horse to come home in front of its stablemate tonight. Has top weight here but is fully justified with the form it has been in. Drawn well on the inside, in stall 1, so should be able to get a nice early position. Is in good form and drops in grade and mark for this run. Down 1lb to 65 allowing it to contest a 0-65 and also drops down to Class 6. Recent form reads.....6 starts ago, won (Class 6 off 55), then won (Class 5 off 61), 3rd of 9 (Class 5 off 65), 2nd of 12 (Class 6 off 65), 3rd of 10 (Class 5 off 65 over inadequate 5f trip), 7th of 9 (Class 5 off 66, but only 2L off the winner). Based on those figures, is well overpriced at 10/1. That last run can be dismissed too due to slow pace, as the horse needs a nice tow through. Another interesting point today is a very good jockey taking a further 5lb off its back, which in effect takes its mark back down to 60 and that would look very lenient and very winnable. Stable amongst the winners too and I'll be hugely disappointed not to see this horse be in the money at a very appealing EW price.
