GaF Posted December 28, 2007 Share Posted December 28, 2007 Challenge 1 - Passed :ok GaF's Nothing to Something thread (Current Bank €1007.85) Challenge 2 - Failed :sad Challenge 2: GaFs €50 to Something on Cash Tables - Challenge Failed Challenge 3 ...... Having lost my bankroll at Virgin, my goal is to build it up to a managable bankroll without needing to deposit again - given Challenge 1, I don't envisage any difficulties in this and hope to get there quite quickly.... It's not quite as it seems - in addition to the €15.59 bankroll, I also have a €100+€10 and €50+€5 PLOPS seats - so really I am going from €180.59 - though the high variance involved in having two big buy in tourneys means I'm not really counting on them....if I cash in either, I'll probably be most of the way there!! (Apart from my tables that is!!:tongue2). You will take your €15 and make a mint! You were way too good for the $10NL tables, you know that. At the $25 you will do very well. Out of interest, why are you trying to play the 30 seaters when you clearly have a huge advantage on both the 5 and 10 seaters? Personally, I would stick to what you do best as there is way too much variance to place regularly on the 30 seaters. Abviously all in my IMVHO. I thought it was a brave call with your KJ... I obviously didn't see what you had but I thought the pot would have been won with a set... not sure if I would have called, but maybe thats why you came 3rd and I would have come around the bubble if I was playing! Still think its a difficult call with the flush, straight draws and possibility of a set. But making it and winning it put you in a position to win the tournament, so its probably a good value call especially knowing the opposition probably had very little.
