Guest Mighty Addicks Posted April 18, 2002 Share Posted April 18, 2002 Hi. Hills currently have Beckham the 2/5 jolly to captain England against Sweden in the WC opener. Now, I am not privy to his medical diagnosis, but it seems to me that he is very far from a certain starter, and is at best going to have zero match practice before the tournament. I guess if he is halfway fit, Sven will play him, and as captain, but at this stage a spot on the bench to help him back to fitness is not out of the question. Therefore it appears there is value opposing him. Owen is next best at 5s, with Rio 6s with 10s bar these.
