BillyHills
Re: lay of the day friday 405 Ayr : Captain Gerrard (4/6 fav) Probrably barking up the wrong tree here but i just think this is a value lay at the prices, no doubting the ability but one or two in this race are liable to improve and the fav is pretty exposed now, the trainer has had only one winner this month and that was a short priced one and i think the horse will have to be 100% to win this, excuses last two defeats by connections which i dont like so at 4/6 i wouldnt want to be backing him. daftpegasus
Re: lay of the day friday 15:20 Newbury - Centennial A big step up in class and up against some opponents who have experience and form at this level. At 2/1 (3.05 on BF) it's a lay for me.
Falbrav
Re: lay of the day friday Capitana 5.35 Newbury. Been well supported this afternoon, so a bit dangerous opposing him, but at the current odds of 4.3 I think a LAY is the only call to be honest. Needs to step up a bit on recent efforts, although had excuses, but has several rivals with equal chances in my opinion and so worthy of a lay. Trip and ground suitable and so can win, but the percentage call is to lay. Never won a race on the flat either, so I don't want to be opposing it on its first win! irrespective of the end result though, a lay is the only call at current odds, simply as he wouldn't win this race more than once in every 7 or 8 attempts, so 4.3 looks short enough don't you think.
