Represent your pub online in the Ladbrokes Pub Poker Championship, a series of 5 online tournaments in a league format, where you will earn points for you and your pub. There will be a live grand final at the Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar in Paddington where you will play for a Ladbrokes Caribbean Poker Cruise ticket and be crowned the 2007 Pub Poker Champion! Is your pub taking part in the Pub Poker Championship? If not, why not?! Unless your pub signs up, you will not be able to represent them in the Championship, and therefore they won’t be eligible for loads of great prizes, including professional poker tables and chips for your pub, as well as a VIP Celebrity Poker Tournament in your pub and a generous bar tab, courtesy of Ladbrokes Poker. Tell your landlord to get involved now and prove you are the best! Win the Pub Poker Championship and you will win a Ladbrokes Caribbean Poker Cruise ticket for you and a friend worth over $5,500. PLUS, you will win one for your pub too! There are loads of other prizes too, including the opportunity to play against some great celebrities and sports professions in a VIP Poker Tournament in YOUR pub!! Every Sunday night at 9.30pm, starting on Sunday 28th October for 5 weeks, there will be a $5 + $0.50 No Limit Holdem tournament for the Pub Poker Championship. It doesn’t matter what standard of player you are as there are loads of opportunities to win some great prizes. And the $5 buy-in to each tournament is less than the average pint at your local! Every time you play in one of these tournaments, as well as playing for the prize pool you will also accumulate points for you and your pub. Compete against your fellow poker players in the Player Leaderboard, and get as many points as you can for your pub in the Pub Leaderboard. PLUS, the more people you get playing for your pub, the more points the Pub will get! What can I win? Let’s start with the prizepool - every tournament has a $5 buy-in, so there will always be a decent prizepool each week. Also, if you win one of the 5 tournaments you will win one of just 20 seats in the Live Grand Final at the Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar in Paddington, London. Every time you play, you will also earn points for the leaderboards. If you haven’t won one of the individual tournaments, the top 10 people in the Player Leaderboard at the end of the Championship will also win a seat each in the Live Grand Final in London. However don’t worry if you don’t get many points, because you will still have an opportunity to go to the Live Grand Final – play in at least 3 of the 5 tournaments and you will be eligible for one of five Wildcard seats at the Grand Final. All 20 Grand Finalists will enjoy a great afternoon of poker in London at the Ladbrokes Casino in Paddington. Win the Grand Final and you will win a Ladbrokes Caribbean Poker Cruise ticket worth over $5,500 for you and a guest. On the 25th January 2008, the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise III sets sail from the Cape Liberty Cruise Port located on the New York Harbour in Bayonne for a 10 day Caribbean Poker Cruise. This time the poker will be played aboard the deluxe cruise liner ‘Explorer of the Seas’, with every cabin having it’s own balcony and Wi-Fi internet connectivity. There are also loads of prizes that your pub can win, including professional poker equipment and a celebrity poker tournament in your pub. For more information, click here. How do I take part? The Pub Poker Championship is open to both new and existing customers. To take part, you first have to have a Ladbrokes account and Poker Alias, and then you will have to select the pub you want to represent. If you don’t do this, you won’t be able to play in the tournaments and prove that you are the best poker player in your pub! If your pub has not signed up, tell your pub landlord to get involved! If they don’t, you will not be able to represent them. PLUS, there are a whole host of prizes that the pubs can win too, including professional poker equipment for your pub!
