Hi all, I thought I'd try my hand at glory hunting as it's pursuit I enjoy. Mostly I fail miserably but I still keep at it much to the bookie's delight. I'm going to try a 30 day challenge which to see where it takes me. Every day I'll choose 3 selections, on the football, to work with and allow myself £25 stake. £7 of that will be set aside for a patent @£1 line and the rest will be distributed as I see fit among the 3 singles. Just to keep it simple I'll start with a £750 bank. I don't know why I thought I had to start with a bank of £750 so will scratch that thought and instead just work with profit/loss over the 30 says. Thanks mate. One of the better days I predict but always good to start in profit before you start handing it back. :) Today I'm going to make another slight adjustment. It seems a bit silly to me to be taking a patent when I'm already taking singles so instead of the £7 patent I'll start taking a £5 Trixie (£1.25 per line). As the football is dire today I've been forced to risk a draw rather than have 3 small odds selections. It's a learning process and I really think in retrospect there were better games available in the Budesliga so I'll learn from that- my losing selection today was bad choice. Back again tomorrow. Re: TMN3 (30 day challenge) Poor day for me. The challenge started great and has gone downhill. It's taken 4 days but I am now in the red. This has been my worst day by far, Hopefully I can get back in black soon. PSV left it late but at least produced the goods. Randers were 1-0 up but lost the lead 12 minutes from time. YB played against ten men for the last half hour and still couldn't score. Bad selections today but to be honest some of my other choices were bad too so just a bad day all round. Norrkoping couldn't beat Sylvia but recent form in that game suggested there could be a problem. Aachen won at Koln for the first time in 40 years so I obviously didn't see that coming. Drogheda played against 10 men for nearly an hour and still couldn't win. Must be a Monday night thing. To add to the pain they were the last team to play so I already knew 6 out of 6 results were up. The upshot is they caved in half my lines but thems the risks.
