  1. Re: Tennis - The US Open 2011 Treble: Isner - Almagro - Kuznetsova - 2.34 Not a very high odds treble, but one I think is pretty solid. Nothing flashy about it, but after Dodig yesterday I just want a bet to get past the line. Isner has been in fine form leading upto the tournament, winning the week before against good players and also beating his opponent today Marcos Baghdatis. Baghdatis is one of those players who is frustrating to back and could turn up in any form, I think he will make a fight of it but hopefully lose in 4 or maybe even a nail biting 5. Almagro is ranked just inside
  2. Re: Tennis 22-28 August Schuettler to beat Gabashvili @ 1.83 Paddy Power. Im liking the look of Schettler in this tournament and he has only dropped one set which was a close 1st set in his semi final vs Jamie Baker. On the other hand Gabashvili seems to be making heavy work of it, with a few 3 setters. I think in a match rated '50/50' by the bookmaker the German can win. GL.
  3. Re: ATP Barcelona April 20-26 Really like the price for Fabio Fognini against Gimeno-Traver @ 1.44 with Ladbrokes and various other firms. The price is a little short, so I am also gonna put a bit on Fognini to take the first set @ 1.62 with William Hill. Fognini is coming out of the Monte Carlo Masters having played very well in the 5 games he played their. Most notably beating Marin Cilic comfortably and progressing against 3 other decent players. He also kept with Murray for alot of the match he played against him and i think that he is more than tricky for alot of people when he is on c

  5. Re: Wimbledon 23rd June - 6th July Im slightly confused by the Chris Eaton price tomorrow against Boris Pashanski. Its hard enough trying to get the 2nd Brit (Bogdanovic) furthur than the 1st round, so im not to confident of that chances of the 10th best British man doing well. Added with the fact he is young and inexpierienced I think his debut at Wimbledon may end in defeat at the hands of the Serbian who I think should be a much better player than him, despite a string of bad recent results. It alot to ask for him to win, but he seems to be favourite and that is the only thing really p
  6. Re: Wimbledon 23rd June - 6th July Looks like there are a few very even matches. I will have a look through and post later properly, but I just wanted to ask, does anyone know if they actually make a coupon for the 1st round in-shop and if so what bookies that is. Thanks.
  7. Re: Tennis 7th-12th Jan: Auckland/Hobart/Sydney Anyway here I go with a few singles... Ivo Minar vs Alun Jones @ 1.50 Minar seems to be hitting some good form and defeated the giant serving Isner in the qualifiers. I have seen Alun Jones play well against a weak and injured Nadal, but I think that Minar will have too much for him and a price of 1.50 is reasonable. Jo Wilfreid Tsonga vs Andreas Seppi @ 1.42 Have been very impressed with Tsonga recently and cannot wait for him to play on the grass courts because he done so well last year on them. He plays a good serve and volley game and
  8. Re: Tennis Favourites Marin Cilic vs Thomas Cackl @ 1.29 - Stake 100 Jo Wilfreid Tsonga vs Andreas Seppi @ 1.42 - Stake 100
  9. Re: Tennis 7th-12th Jan: Auckland/Hobart/Sydney True, but in my eyes it was a given (Gasquet over Andreev), rather pissed at Querry being the player who always defeats me one way or another. Bet against him he plays superb, bet with him and he loses! I should have stuck to singles, but at the moment I am struggling to find any real value.
  10. Re: Tennis 7th-12th Jan: Auckland/Hobart/Sydney No prices are jumping out at me, but I would take a Gasquet x Chela x Querry x Ferrer fourfold at 2.17
  11. Re: Tennis Favourites Most of the DNB were for good reasons, 3 of the 4 lost which was the good news, but more lost also, so turned out badly anyway. Early morning, but I think it works out like this Start Bank 1000 Current Bank 953 No more probably until Monday. Should start to get better.
  12. Re: Tennis 31st - 6th I am willing to take Wawrinka over Ljubicic @ 2.20, havent seen Wawa play this tournament, but Ljubicic looked inconsistent and fragile everytime he got into a rally in the middle part of his Q/F match. If Wawrinka can put in some good returns and make Ljubicic play 1 extra shot, then he should be able to defeat him, by allowing him to make his own mistakes. I think both Davydenko and Ljubicic are guys who's confidence can easily be broken, but saying that, Davydenko has more than a chance at odds of 2.55, and Murray should never be taken at such short odds IMO, so
  13. Re: Tennis Favourites Cilic v Haase - Cilic @ 1.72 Stake 100 Malisse v Youzhny Malisse @ 1.85 Stake 100 García López v Nadal Nadal @ 1.04 Stake 100 Moya v Serra Moya @ 1.37 Stake 100 Becker v Llodra Becker @ 1.98 DNB Hewitt v Tsonga Hewitt @ 1.33 DNB Mathieu v Sirianni Mathieu @ 1.22 Stake 100 Nieminen v Spadea Niemienen @ 1.40 Stake 100 Davydenko v Murray Murray @ 1.70 DNB Ljubicic v Wawrinka Ljubicic @ 1.74 DNB All the mens matches from tomorrow, and I've outlined the risky ones as DNB. Hopefully this will start off a lot better then the last attempt! :hope Seems we
  14. Re: Tennis Favourites So that would be backing all the favourites? Which still looks like you would come out ontop... hmmm, very interesting. Looks very decent, and ive seen youve looked at biggers stakes which is an option to boost winnings over a shorter period of time. As it is a paper trial, will revert to a 1000 Bank and 100 bets for now, and surley using a bit of tennis knowledge a few of losses can be avoided as DNB's. Thanks for the stats MetallicIan, hopefully I can tighten up the selections and make this thread profitable. Sooooo..... New plan, just the staking Bank o
