Re: Tennis - 5th-12th Strength 10/10 - Ancic to beat Niemeyer - 1.31 @ Betfair This is Mario Ancic's 1st appearance for a while and I think he will be eager to make a good comeback. Due to a virus? I think, he has has to missed a major part of the season, and he has dropped down to a lowely 39th in the world. He will be eager and willing to make a winning and comfortable comeback against a Canadian Wildcard in Montreal. He should progress easily here and look forward to a comeback tournament where he can hit the ground running and continue the season from a fresh. H2H 0:0 Strength 8/10 - Dancevic to beat Del Potro - 2.10 @ Ladbrokes This is a tough match to call, but I think that Dancevic has been in great form and can beat a good player in Del Potro. Dancevic is Canadian so will relish the chance of playing infront of a home crowd in Montreal. Del Potro is a really good prospect, but I will side with Dancevic, who is in good form and was the first canadian for around 15 years to get to an ATP final last month in Indianapolis. On his way to the final there, Dancevic actually beat Del Potro, so this is another reason I think that the value here is good. H2H 1:0 in favour of Dancevic. Strenght 10/10 - Karlovic to beat Mirnyi - 1.44 @ Bet365 Karlovic has been in good form recently, compared to Mirnyi who.. well has not been in good form? Karlovic has just reached the semis of the Legg Mason classic and I think that his serve will make him a hard oppent to face, especially when you are not in form, as Miriyni, who has been knocked out in the 1st round of both Kitzbuhel and Stuttgart on the clay last month, is. H2H 2:1 in favour of Karlovic. Strenght 8/10 - Safin to beat Sodeling - 2.26 @ Betfair This is a big price for a player who has won Grand-Slams in the modern era of the game and a player who actually has a chance of beating anyone on his day. Soderling is no slouch, but I cannot see why he is actually the favourite here? Both players are ranked in the 20's and I think it will be a good match, but ultimatly, I think that Safin will finally prevail. H2H 1:0 in favour of Safin. Strenght 5/10 - Hrbaty to beat Kohlscreiber - 4.00 @ Bet365 This is a massive price considering both players can playing solid and classy tennis on there day. Hrbaty is an outsider, but he is definatly overpriced here and I think he definatly has a chance, well, more of a chance then the bookies are giving him. Both mid 30's in the rankings, so it will be another close match. Hrbaty is not in any form at all, but niether is Kohlscreiber really, so I think it will be down to who wants it more on the day and who finds there form here in Montreal. H2H 2:1 in favour of Hrbaty Strenght 10/10 - Murray to beat Ginepri - 1.61 @ Betfred Its the long awaited return of Mr Murray, to the delight of all British fans, including me. He is a great player and is destined for big things, hopefully this years title :tongue2. I am obviously very biased here, but I think that if his wrist holds up then this will be justified as he can sweep aside Ginepri who is having a tough year and is struggling to have a impact on the tour like he has done in recent years. H2H is 2:0 in favour of Murray. Strenght 5/10 - Verdasco to beat Chela - 2.10 @ Ladbrokes This is another close match up, with probably Verdasco being in the slightly better form. They have both played on the clay since Wimbledon and have both done well. I think this will come down to who will adapt better to the change over to hard courts, and I think this could be either, so the outsiders price of Verdasco is unjustified, and should be taken. H2H 3:2 to Chela, all matches on clay. Strenght 5/10 - Moya to beat Baghdatis - 2.50 @ Ladbrokes Moya is very much in form and showed that when he took the title in Umag. This is not the clay, but he is a useful player on hard courts also, so I think he is very overpriced here. Baghdatis is another great player and is ranked only 1 place below Moya in the rankings. Moya can easily match and even beat as Bagdahtis as I have predicted. A clash of two great players in the game. H2H 1:1, Moya has beaten Bagdahtis on the hard courts. ^^^^^ These are just the odds I could just get my hands on, there may be some more I see.
