Sport Football (Norwegian Adeccoligaen)
Event Mandalskameratene v SOGNDAL IL
Selection SOGNDAL IL
Strength 9/10
Date 03/06/2007
Bookmaker/Price BetandWin @ 1.70 (Back)
Reasoning The handicapper must have been half asleep when setting the odds for this game. It's ridiculous that two teams at opposite ends of the form spectrum could be assigned such odds! SOGNDAL should be much much lower, while the second most useless team in the league should be much much higher! Mandalskameratene, having recently bounced back from relegation are set to do it all over again following the abysmal start the the league this season. Their form IS the worst in the league, losing all of the last 6 games, conceding 18 goals and scoring only 4 (that's an average of 3 a game for all you who suck at maths!). It's no suprsise to find that their relegation form has seen them sitting nicely in contention for relegation, and even at this stage it seems only a miracle can help avoid the inevitable. On the other hand, SOGNDAL are a team in form, notching up 5 victories in their last 6 games and conceding only 2 on their travels. This should be a solid win for the away side, the only doubts could arise from the inability of the 3rd placed team to take their chances on the road, scoring only 4 in their last 3 away games. But against the worst defence in the league, there will be plenty of opportunities for SOGNDAL to build up their goal differnmce and i will be expecting a confident performance from the guys from central Norway.

Re: Norway, Adeccoliga 03. June

MK 2 - 2 Sogndal :wall:wall:wall

On 80 minutes you could have been forgiven for thinking the game was over, 2- 1 and Mandalskameratene were holding off the concerted challenges of an improved Sogndal team, who despite trailing since the 4th minute had the majority of play and chances. But late drama saw an 83rd minute equaliser from Flo followed by a late red card for the home side. So 2-2, with only a minute and injury time to go. Increased pressure from the away side didn't result in a late winner and Mandalskameratene managed to stand firm emerged from this tricky fixture with a priceless point against a side who many exepct great things from this season. Perhaps the mot suprising thing about this match was the grit and determination shown by the home team as players fought tooth and nail to hold on . Credit must go to Svein Hansen for masterminding this impressive performance. Despite not winning Sogndal can go back to central Norway with a smile on their faces, although they drew the result could have been much worse for them, coming back from being 2-0 down with a Flo brace has kept them up with the early leaders and they will look to return to winning ways when they face league leaders Bodo Glimt.

Re: Norway, Adeccoliga 03. June Bodø/Glimt - Molde This game should be played last weekend, but there were some players with the national team, so they will have to play on Thursday. Bodø/Glimt has started well home with 4 straight wins. Lost for the first time this seson away to Haugesund in last game. Has played well lately and Martins and Olsen are always dangerous on top. Molde has won all 4 awaygames, while they at home just have won 1 game. Lost to Kongsvinger in last league game, and has lost 3 of 4 their last games, include a loss to 3.divison club KIL/Hemne in the cup. Missings Bodø/Glimt: P.Londak(GK 2games). R.Brenes(A 3games) is doubtful. Missings Molde: S.Grande(M 0games) and M.Konate(A 0games). H2H on Aspmyra: 9-2-5 31-20 Last meetings on Aspmyra: 2005-09-26 Bodø/Glimt - Molde 2 - 0 2005-06-29 Bodø/Glimt - Molde 1 - 2 2004-06-27 Bodø/Glimt - Molde 0 - 0 2003-04-26 Bodø/Glimt - Molde 2 - 0 2002-06-09 Bodø/Glimt - Molde 0 - 2 2001-07-08 Bodø/Glimt - Molde 3 - 2 2000-05-13 Bodø/Glimt - Molde 2 - 2 1999-07-25 Bodø/Glimt - Molde 3 - 1 Think Bodø should win this game. 2.25 is good on Nordicbet.
